About Me

I'm 22 years old currently living in the Kawartha Lakes area.; Tourism Administration and hope to find a career on the tourism side of the industry in no more than a year. Although I am not working in the industry right now, I have before and loved it, but with the area I am currently living in its hard to find jobs in the field I want. I'm a down to earth girl with a great sense of humor and love to laugh (so hopefully you have a sense of humor too). I'm really easy going and at the end of the day nothing really bothers me. I'm very free spirited and independent, always have been, and I pride myself in that. I have strong morals/views and my family and friends are very important to me. I may be opinionated at times, but I can still carry a debate with someone and understand their point of view. Closed minded people bother me though. With music I listen to just about anything and can appreciate a good song when I hear it. The one genre I am not a fan of AT ALL though is country, although some of my close friends do listen to it and I am forced to suffer along. I love going to live shows as long as it's with the right group of people. If I sound interesting to you and you don't mind a girl with meat on her bones, then just send me a message, I'm always down for a good conversation. Try not to send the typical 'Hey' message either.     I currently work and go to school, both full-time, so I thought I'd check out this site since I don't have a TON of free time. I definitely still make time to go out with friends, but I figured this profile might help a little. I've always loved psychology and I'm studying to become a college counselor. I'm hoping to land a counseling position at either JCCC or KU.I laugh at everything. It is verrry important to me to find someone that can also laugh and and have fun with practically nothing and have the ability to be a sarcastic ***hole at times. While humor is very important, I'm also looking for someone that's more mature and also has a fairly solid life plan. I've been dealt some sh*tin my life and have matured from those experiences so I'm not a ditzy, stupid kid and I am not looking for that either. I can bee kind of ADD at times, and I know a lot of people don't have the patience for that, but I'm just fascinated by everything and my mind moves a mile a minute at times, and I love it that way, so be ready for that! I love being active, dancing, going out with friends, but I also enjoy spending nights in and relaxing with a good book or movie. I love a good comedy, but am also a huge fan of action/adventure/fighting/war movies- blame my parents for raising me on Steven Seagal and Van Damme. I love most music, but current and classic rock and probably my favorites. My top three favorite bands right now would probably have to be The Foo Fighters, The White Stripes, and The Eagles.
