I consider myself to be someone who commits to relationships. I perceive things as they are. Somewhat of a realist. I have a tendency to be serious at times. But mostly free spirited and spontaneous. I've found myself to believe that those who have been interested in the past were only interested in the moment. I live for today but plan for tomorrow. I believe the concept of a first date should be about getting to know someone. The first date is the beginning. Taking a moment to understand her as a person. I would drive her to a place intended for privacy. Within reach of everything around us. A place quiet enough for her to want to be close. I would make the first date personal. Something I want her to remember. I would respectfully take my time. Let her understand me as a person. Then allow realism to play it's part. I would want to do something fun. Something we could both enjoy and have a good time. Like take her to a party. Or a bonfire with friends. Something exciting but not overwhelming. I would want to remember the thought behind the smile that she gives me at the end of the night.
