I'm a chick going through the phases of life and is trying to find her best friend to share it with. My friends would say that I'm very loyal, down-to-earth, smileaholic, has a great personality and would do anything to help out her family and friends. The type of guy I'd like to meet is someone who has a good sense of humor (most important), loyal, into sports, loves life, mature, family and goal-oriented, tall and not too far from me. Someone who enjoys cuddling and romance but also enjoys time apart to appreciate the times spent together. I'd like to find a guy who expands my horizons and enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, camping and fishing. Those are a few of what I'd like to do, more often...just never find the right time to do it with friends/family who are interested in that as well. Nature is a beautiful thing and should be appreciated more often, rather than getting caught up with the daily grind. Whatever involves us having fun, be it bowling or playing a sport of some kind while getting to know each other or just visiting over a tasty mocha.

Woman. 32 years old. Zodiac sign: Leo.
Looking for: man. In age: 29-39
I started listing likes and dislikes and then realized the whole point of meeting someone is to get to know them. Usually, people know how they feel about each other right away. If you are looking for something more and want a woman in your life then I hope to hear from you. I'm single, honest, educated, and interested in finding someone to spend time with. Send me a message if you'd like to chat. Probably meet at a cafe, bar or restaurant. Chat, have a drink and get to know each other.

Given that I bought a house, I also intend to stay in DC for a while, quite possibly for life. I am employed and I actually like what I do! I am a voracious reader finding that reading just one book at a time is not enough. I've seen Shawshank Redemption more times than I can count, yet am completely unable to change the channel if I come across the movie on television. I'm a sucker for puzzles, art museums, and dogs. I have goals that I have every intention of keeping including, but not limited to: visiting every state by the time I'm 38ish, reading every book on a "***novels you must read before you die" list I came across in the next 18 years, and getting at least one promotion at work in the next 4 years. I enjoy cooking and think I make a pretty damn good lasagna and black bean soup. I stay active by running, biking, hiking, and/or just going to the gym. I consider myself lucky having found a job I like, friends whom I adore and would do anything for, family who can be pretty awesome, and the independence to have bought my own home a few years ago.I, if I do say so myself, am a catch. (Get it?! A catch on plenty of fish! Yes. I can bust out the lame pun every once in a while.)Having dated quite a bit of unworthy guys, I do know what I'm looking for. So please don't be offended if I don't reply to your message. If you're wondering what it is I am looking for, well I want someone who is fun, funny, trustworthy, active, forthcoming, conversant, and honest. I want someone who will encourage my good habits, and help me break my bad habits. I want someone to share experiences with. I want someone who is in it for the long haul, not just for the night. Thanks for reading! I don't know - let's just have one!
