I liked the term 'foodie' best out of all the options, but I'm no food snob (or connoisseur). I just really like good food. I also love to banter, watch great movies, and exercise. I have a busy profession but I do my best to balance work and life - i.e., I workout and make time for my friends and family. I recently joined a martial arts gym, and I'm also into running (although, I'm no pro), rollerblading, and snowboarding. My family is a boating family, so meeting a boater would be a plus. I love electronica, hip hop, indie rock, but not so much country and terrible music.....for example I hate Nickelback....My goals are to use my career to positively impact the lives of other people; and to keep fit and healthy as long as humanly possible so that I can enjoy life and be there for my family and friends. I'd love to travel more - = food, wine, etc.!), and ultimately meet my match in terms of ambition, humanity, and outlook on life. I love a good laugh and someone who doesn't take themselves too seriously. I'm not in any rush, but I'm ultimately interested in meeting a successful, intelligent man who loves life and takes good care of himself. Somewhere we can have a conversation - nothing pretentious but somewhere classy and low-key. E.g., dinner and a walk at the beach, a picnic, or a glass of wine on a patio. I love doing active things too, maybe on date #2, e.g., paddle boarding (in the summer!), snowboarding/skiing, sailing, the Grind (which I have never done....shamefully), etc. I love food and wine, and a great restaurant is always a fun find.

    before you ask, yes i got my groove back...now that's out of the way and no one has to send me that *** wanna be your snooki. no, i don't, that was made up...hmmm, this is where i write in all the things about me that will make you want to message me. awkward.i like guys with beards. i'm a girly girl so of course i like shopping and fashion. i am a very independent person full of good ideas that i don't mind sharing (aka, i wear bossy boots sometimes). i listen to all kinds of music except country. although my bestie forces me to listen to some country so i do know the words to a few songs. i really enjoy dancing, especially when we are having a kitchen dance party, which is exactly what it sounds like. on my ipod is a lot of hip-hop (atmosphere, murs, blackalicious), electronic (STS9, pretty lights, bassnecter),and jam bands (string cheese incident, phish, yonder mountain string band). i'm not the world's most experienced chef, but i am learning new stuff in the kitchen all the time. until a year ago, all i could make was grilled cheese or quesadillas... now i can make homemade soups and pasta sauce and a lot of other things. i bet i could even bake if i wanted to!anything else you want to know, i guess you'll just have to ask. i like surprises, adventures, and the unexpected. pretty cheesy, right? cliche' or whatever, it's true. i don't really want to do the dinner and a movie thing. i mean, really... how well can you get to know someone at a movie?

    I like outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, fishing, swimming, going to the beach and for wooded walks in the warmer seasons.
