    Above all else, I love spending time with family and friends. It's not the things in life that make me happy, it's the people and the experiences. I love being outdoors. Grew up at the family cabin on the lake up north. Nothing better than spending the day on the boat in the sun, grilling dinner, fishing by the sunset, and gazing into a bonfire with a tasty adult beverage into the wee hours of the night.I love playing in my yard, gardening, landscaping, and digging in the dirt.     I have been out of the dating scene for so long and I am still not sure about it, so taking things slow is a must! Online dating is VERY odd to me and I in no way have any clue what I am doing! It makes me feel really old, like when I had to walk uphill both ways, to school in the snow. ;)I have been a single mother for the past 7+ years (my ex is not involved in child's life)so most of my activities have involved my son. I spend a lot of time outside, year-round, but I also enjoy playing wii, movies, and lots of other indoor activities! I make jewellery so a lot of my time is filled with beads, wire and pliers! There are a lot of other things that I enjoy doing but have been busy raising my son, so my likes are not limited ONLY to things with my child, but have mainly consisted of them for the past 8 years. He is getting a bit older and spending more time with friends, so I find myself with a bit more free time. I am not looking for a father for my son, but if things were to ever become serious, you would definitely have to be someone who cares about him too. There is lots of other things to learn about me, but I have no idea what to put in this thing! I guess we will just have to get to know one another.
