About Me

I am 31yrs old, 5ft blond hair blue eyes. I've lived in St. Pete since high school and I work for a personal injury law firm. I enjoy my work, it's very challenging, but rewarding. I do have a 4yr old son, that is of course my world, so if you are not ok with kids (not that you will meet him for a good while) please keep looking. Also if you are allergic to cats or dogs, it's not going to work out.My personality tends to run from bubbly to sarcastic, depending on my mood. I am not a party person, while going out to the bar/club scene is fun every once in awhile, that really isn't how I want to de-stress after a long week. I prefer a night in with friends, some food, drinks and a game. I would rather hang out with people I know and like,over a bunch of drunken strangers. Of course just the two of us cuddling on the couch with popcorn and a netflix movie is also a lot of fun. I am an affectionate person, both in public and in private, I enjoy being held. I also enjoy cooking for someone other than myself, I like to do nice things for the person I'm with and I expect the same in return. Not looking for Don Juan but sweet things are nice, and rewarded. The type of guy I find myself attracted to is one that can carry on a conversation, and it doesn't center around what game was on last night, someone intellectually stimulating, and emotionally mature. I also like a sense of humor, oftentimes, twisted. You don't have to be funny to the whole world, just me. Physically, I like guys that are taller than me (and since I'm only 5ft, most of you are golden), I love glasses on a guy (very sexy), prefer short hair to no hair (some guys just know how to rock it bald), I do like guys with some meat/muscle on them (I like that feeling of safety and security when we hug/cuddle). Also, not going to lie but I do love a man in a pickup truck. Not a deal breaker by any means but just saying.My taste in television shows run from Family Guy, American Dad, to CSI, to Tosh.0. Not into reality tv shows or any of the you wanna be a star/dance shows. For movies I prefer comedies, romantic, thriller (not horror), animated and some sports movies.     Hello there! Like many people, I'm hesitant of online dating, but I figured I'd give it a try.     This site can be frustrating, but I'll be optimistic til the end. I'm not a liar, so I believe everyone tells the truth. I'm not a cheater, so I trust everyone is faithful. I'm not a bad person, so I think everyone's motives are genuine. Of course, this has burned me in the past but if given the option of being naively trusting or bitter and jaded, I'll pick the former every time. I didn't know a soul here but I knew it was what I needed to do. I have never lived this close to the beach before and I find I am spending every day off in the sand and surf. I evidently need lessons in applying aerosol sunscreen because I keep having fails. I've got at least 4 new activities I want to pickup, including surfing and paddle boarding. I'm pretty uncoordinated and a little terrified of both sharks and alligators- so we'll see how that goes... :)I love thunderstorms. I'm 5'10" barefoot and if I'm not in flip flops then I'm wearing high heels. I was a swimmer for 13 years, but have replaced it with running since college. I do yoga. I love my dogs. I like scary movies even though they give me nightmares. I think falling is funny. I drink beer. And wine. And liquor. Hopefully not all at the same time. I love to laugh. I quote movies and assume everyone else gets the joke. And I overuse smileys and I don't care :) Lets face it, first dates are awkward. Something low-key and low-pressure. Lets start by grabbing drinks or getting into something fun!
