I travel to Nicaragua at least twice a year. I'm always interested in getting out of town for the weekend to do something new or go to the beach, (if I have time. "What can I say, parent's just don't understand.")Books: The Zookeepers Wife, Jane Eyre, Life, mostly non-fiction or biography.Movies: Huge movie buff here.) Just a few that come to mind. I like a good surprise. Definitely not a movie though, what's the sense in dating when you can't talk?

This site can be frustrating, but I'll be optimistic til the end. I'm not a liar, so I believe everyone tells the truth. I'm not a cheater, so I trust everyone is faithful. I'm not a bad person, so I think everyone's motives are genuine. Of course, this has burned me in the past but if given the option of being naively trusting or bitter and jaded, I'll pick the former every time. I didn't know a soul here but I knew it was what I needed to do. I have never lived this close to the beach before and I find I am spending every day off in the sand and surf. I evidently need lessons in applying aerosol sunscreen because I keep having fails. I've got at least 4 new activities I want to pickup, including surfing and paddle boarding. I'm pretty uncoordinated and a little terrified of both sharks and alligators- so we'll see how that goes... :)I love thunderstorms. I'm 5'10" barefoot and if I'm not in flip flops then I'm wearing high heels. I was a swimmer for 13 years, but have replaced it with running since college. I do yoga. I love my dogs. I like scary movies even though they give me nightmares. I think falling is funny. I drink beer. And wine. And liquor. Hopefully not all at the same time. I love to laugh. I quote movies and assume everyone else gets the joke. And I overuse smileys and I don't care :) Lets face it, first dates are awkward. Something low-key and low-pressure. Lets start by grabbing drinks or getting into something fun!
