Because I've raised him on my own we're very close. He does have a father that he knows and has a relationship with so I'm not looking for a man to fill that role. He's old enough to understand I'd like to meet someone so he's cool with me dating. I'm not in a hurry to bring the two of you together but he's my reality so life with me will include him as well so you have to be ok with 'little' humans. Because I'm still young enough I haven't closed the door on ever having another child but I am beyond happy with the way my life is now so not having more will not upset me. I'm ok with you having kids of your own and expect that life with you will include them as well. First date is more of a chemistry check. Let's get together for a coffee or a frosty beverage. We could walk and talk, hit up a dog park or a mini golf course.

First off, I should say I am a mother of 3. My kids are 10,8 and 1. I am recently divorced from their father but he is still in the picture. Their picture, not mine.....I would prefer to date someone that has kids because I feel like other single parents get me more. I cant just wake up on a Tuesday and decide to randomly take off for a 4 day vacation. and sometimes plans change because a kid gets sick or the babysitter calls out. those are simple "how to date a single mom" moments.
