Looking for: man. In age: 28-38
My hobbies, I like cooking and making new recipies then having a dinner party for my friends. I love speding time with my girlfriends, and the get togethers usually involves yummy dishes...from different nationalities. Since I have a 5 yr old son, most of the things I do involves the things he likes to do. I volunteer at his school and I enjoy being around him and seeing his interaction with other children. My goals are to raise the best possible son so that he can make a difference in other people's lives. Continue my educatin in college and earn my degrees. Strenghten my faith and practice in Islam (hopefully we can do it together :)). I am Romanian born and a Muslim convert... it feels so good to know that I'm guided and blessed. I am simple, not high maintenance..don't go tanning, dye my hair, have fake nails, go out to bars or clubs, wear mini skirts and yeah I don't make the fish mouth in my pictures lol. The reason for this is because I was getting too many responses from local Hagerstownians. You must be the same faith(ISLAM)as I for me to respond or consider. I'm not looking for a "friend" or a buddy to "hang out" with, I have plenty of friends to do that with...I'm looking for someone to spend the rest of my life with. Impress me with your sense of humor and confidence...nothing more attractive than that. At the same time...considerate/thoughtful, kind, respectful. I'm very down to earth, easy going and I'd like for you to be the same so that we can have a better connection.

Transplanted small-C. Loves: city streets, cheese, farmers markets, people. Hates: humidity; heat; mean, awful people; that people really don't seem to get to know one another. Misses: going barefoot in the grass; family, especially the smallest ones; best friends; the way it used to be; farmers; cool breezes; ***degrees of mountains (real ones, not this east coast BS); like minded folks. The rest is tbd.... Just out of grad school and working hard to reclaim a personal life. While I was able to keep up with a few things essential to sanity, like running, my annual 2-day walk for breast cancer and spending time with friends, I'm very much enjoying reading books that I choose (!), local events and a lot of cooking. (Sometimes my friends are beneficiaries here.) Music? I'll take it live, in just about any form. The smaller the venue the better. Best kind of first date would be something casual - a drink, coffee, lunch, a trip to the Sunday market. Something to do, spark conversation and a joke or two, learn about one another.

Looking for: man. In age: 32-42
I have a great life -- friends, family, experiences. But I think sharing that life would be even more fun. I am looking for a man I can connect with, who gets my sarcasm and thinks it's witty, who is as comfortable in the middle of a big party as he is eating dinner at home watching Homeland, who is generally a happy person, and who is as excited about spending time with me as I am about spending time with him. So, about me: I like to laugh -- a lot.-- finding new places I've never been. I am an enthusiastic golfer...for 13 maybe 14 holes, then I'm pretty much done, though I promise to be a sport for the last several. I am expressive - it's not hard to pick up on what I'm thinking - I've learned this is a trait that is both amazing and horrifying, all at the same time. I'm fiercely loyal. My family rocks - we are close, and I so enjoy spending time with them. I love traveling; I want to do it so much more. I like to cook, but I admit I eat out most meals. If a friend asked me to watch their baby or their pet, I'd take the baby -- I find kids incredibly cute and entertaining, and they don't make me sneeze. I love good conversation. I like great wine and cold beers. Flip flops and sneaks are way more comfortable than heels, but I tend to choose the latter when I get dressed on a weekday morning. I'm good about working out regularly. I have a strong weakness for Haagen Daaz Caramel Cone ice cream. (The relationship between those last two points is not lost on me.) I'm a sucker for good spelling. My secret dream job would be a dancer - that hasn't changed since I was 12. I received the best compliment of my life recently: that I was "incredibly kind." Dunkin Donuts tastes way better Starbucks. I make a few New Year's Resolutions each year...and actually keep them. I'm up for anything new, old, fun, random, wacky, laid-back, or adventurous. If I HAD to be the one picking, maybe I'd say say grab drinks at a bar. Could be a sports bar. Could be a karoake bar. Could be a beach bar. Could be a bar at a nice restaurant. How's that?
