Here it goes!First of all, I hate the idea of online dating!!! I'd much rather meet face to face, but time is precious so this is just another outlet to meet people.I'm a fun, goofy kind of girl. I love life and am up for almost anything. I'm fairly simple. A night out at the local bar playing darts or video games and dancing to cheesy dj music is as good a time as any for me! I also really enjoy lounging on my couch watching movies in some comfy clothes.You must be OK with BOTH sweatpants AND classy outfits. I have a nice balance between homebody and going out, and I would like someone who also shares that balance. I really enjoy sports. I love the social aspect of a sports event as well as the excitement of cheering on my team. Soccer and American football are my sports of choice, and I do enjoy me some D.C. United games. I also really enjoy concerts. While I'm not very musically talented, music is very important to me and I love to sing it with passion...even if I'm singing badly :) I also enjoy going working out and try to work out ***days a week.While I can appreciate the finer things in life, I am really not interested in your money. It doesn't impress me. I don't aspire to be a millionaire. I just want enough money to live comfortably and to help out my parents when they get too old to take care of themselves. Someone easy going and who can make make me laugh, as well as laugh when I'm being a total idiot! Being in touch with your not so serious side is crucial. I work a lot. I'm a teacher and a server at a restaurant. I need someone who understands that I am working hard now to have a secure future. I am low key during the week (when school is in) and save my going out for the weekends. Truth be told, I sometimes have a hard time staying up past 10 pm during the week because I get up at 5am every morning. THAT being said.....when I do have free time, I cherish it and want to enjoy every minute of it. Be it at home cooking, having friends over for a game night and drinks, going to an awesome concert, or zip lining in a far off country, I have a zest for life and trying new things. I would love to find someone to share those experiences with.I guess I've summed up what I can about myself. Any questions...just ask. Hi! I'm a small town girl with small town values. I grew up in the mountain of PA.;; getting messed up. ;) I always joke that you can take the girl out of the country but cant take the country out of the girl. Im always going to be low key.;ping" from an aluminum bat, and I will probably point out some goofy looking tree & think its cool. lol. I grew up in the mountains, so Im not afraid of the woods. I like to camp. I like going fishing. Im sure you're thinking "wow, she's perfect" ;) BUT, I'm a bit of a smartass & not that good at cooking!!! I know..I know..in my defense I'm starting to enjoy it more. So hopefully that improves my skills, right? Lol. And a smartass...well theres no changing that. im definately going to say something that you think shouldnt come out of a girls mouth. I apologize in advance. I am however, a bit timid at first, but warm up quickly. I recently purchased a home so thats been the focus of my attention lately. Ive been spackling, painting & wiring light fixtures. I actually "kinda" enjoy it only because I feel it makes it more my home rather than my house. Im the boring type. Lol I like to do crafty things. I listen to classic rock & country music, I'd rather sit around a fire then go to the bar & there is no way you would find me in a club. Not a chance Lol I tend to check out men that drive pick ups over a sports car. Im not a big tv watcher. My tv can go days without even being turned on. But when i do watch tv, I like shows on AMC, Boardwalk Empire, & I just started watching Son of Anarchy on netflixs & Im actually thinking about closing this profile down because I may or may not be in love with "jax". Lol Jk So like I said ..I'm a boring old lady lol As far as, my work. I'm one of those lucky ladies that work with kids everyday and Im very fortunate to love my job, most days. (Ok, ok, 3 days out of the 5 isn't to bad right?)

Transplanted small-C. Loves: city streets, cheese, farmers markets, people. Hates: humidity; heat; mean, awful people; that people really don't seem to get to know one another. The rest is tbd.... Just out of grad school and working hard to reclaim a personal life. While I was able to keep up with a few things essential to sanity, like running, my annual 2-day walk for breast cancer and spending time with friends, I'm very much enjoying reading books that I choose (!), local events and a lot of cooking. (Sometimes my friends are beneficiaries here.) Music? I'll take it live, in just about any form. The smaller the venue the better. Best kind of first date would be something casual - a drink, coffee, lunch, a trip to the Sunday market. Something to do, spark conversation and a joke or two, learn about one another.
