I believe there is man that is just for me, somewhere. He's been fairly hard to find but my search has led me to learn many life lessons and to grow as a woman who is tailor made for him. I tend to walk around on my toes and run from place to place. I can be intimidating I have been told, at least until you meet me. I like to be doing something most of the time, but can make time for anything I like or find worthwhile. I love my family, and those who have become family along the way. I love animals and sometimes wonder if they are truly smarter than us humans. After all, they do only what they love and sleep whenever they want. I work hard and I love what I do, enough to have to remind myself that some of it is actually work and not play. On the plus side, it even keeps me in shape. I have a lot of self-taught skills in my pocket and I like to keep adding to them. Experiences are what shape us and relationships keep us going. Change just keeps us precariously balanced between excitement and dread. Mix it all together and here I am. That is the short version. If I had to sum up myself in three simple sentences, I would say this: I teach. I travel. I write. That’s the heading on my travel blog. But, allow me to elaborate a little more.I'm bubbly, outgoing, and a bit of a free spirit. Connecting with people and getting to know "their story" is important to me. I'm definitely an adventure seeker, but I don't mind sitting down to read a good book. I’m pretty down to earth, but on the same token, I love getting dressed up for a night on the town.Family is the most important thing to me and I'm the oldest of seven children (same parents). I live with my brother, who is stationed here in the Navy. Aside from that, I like to sing. I'm a huge country music fan. I'm obsessed with dancing (especially ballroom and Latin)! I spend a lot of time working (the job of a teacher is never ending). I’m looking for someone I can be friends with first. I would love to meet someone who is kind, educated, compassionate, and silly. I definitely need someone who likes adventure as much as I do and is a little bit of a rebel. I do believe in God, but I’m not the judgmental type. One thing that traveling has taught me is to be respectful of all religions. First date: Something casual and laid back. I like the man to take the lead here and I’ll try anything once:)
