It would be great to meet like minded people who can show me around the city. I like to learn about people, enjoy reading, watching movies, and developing new hobbies and interests which are constantly changing as I'm always learning about and adapting to new things. I prefer to spend quality time with people who are funny, silly, honest, intelligent, factual, rational and logical. I especially appreciate people who have integrity, principles, morals and are ethical. I am passionate about maintaining a balanced healthy lifestyle that encompasses mind, body, and spirit through yoga and meditation and eating healthy to the best of my ability. I enjoy culture, history, food, music, health and wellness, holistic health including Ayurvedic medicine. I'd be attracted to a gentleman who is hard-working but knows when to put work aside to take care of himself and of the people he loves. Balance is important. Attractions can be physical, mental or emotional and all can be beneficial for personal growth. A combination of the 3 is a must for me. An important part of a compatible relationship is assuring that each partner’s values coincide, and to learn that takes time, discussion, observation, and interpersonal interaction, not an initial impression based on superficial cues.I think I have said enough already, if you want to know more ask away! I look forward to hearing form you :) First meet-up would be over coffee and see if the connection is there to move on to a first date :)

Okay, so yes I do know what I want and its nothing so far fetched that its laugh worthy or rediculous. I want what most do, a best friend with that spark. Someone who will do the rail trail with me or a farmers market or outdoor concerts in the park. I'm pretty independent, a big goal was to purchase my own home and I accomplished that several years ago. Even through the independence, its still nice to have someone to come home to or do nothing with and still enjoy that time. I just can't settle for someone good enough and since I've waited this long I don't see myself giving in. I don't have a specific physical type that I'm attracted to, its more of an emotional connection that I go for. That and intelligence, I need someone educated to debate current events and beliefs with. I'm not the skinniest or hottest chick around and I'm not looking for that in a man either. I'm way more interested in the substance a man has, confidence and a sarcastic sense of humor is very attractive to me. I'm ready for a relationship and am past the whole casual option.. I want someone emotionally available, someone who is ready for a real, live relationship. We've all been hurt in the past but its molded us into the people we are now. I lead a happy and drama free life, I've got great friends and will find humor in almost any situation. Is it too much to expect that someone out there is normal, educated, attractive, tall & wants more than a casual fling? I'd love to be proven wrong! drinks :)
