About Me

Hi there! This is all a little new, but here we go! The world is big and beautiful and sometimes scary and there's always something to discover, to taste and see and feel, and strangers to meet to whom you'll tell your secrets and never see again. It's all just a bit magical really. But then I think there is magic everywhere: in the books you read, and the music that is all around and the howling wind and the long, late nights with friends. Here are just a few of my favourite things: spending time in solitude, cooking new recipes and savouring old ones, reading a newspaper on a Sunday morning with a strong cup of coffee and a sweet croissant, and it's even better with a sweeter man beside me, booking a flight or a ferry or planning a drive, a really good book - fiction or non, doesn't matter as long as I learn or feel or crave more of it and long for it when it's done, seeing an opera that pierces your heart, philosophy, politics and economics (just a little, as most of it is too intense), the pain during a nice long run and the shower afterwards if it was raining to warm you up. A good glass of wine and a night out also help!I'm pretty open minded, I do love culture and art and all kinds of very nerdy things, and mixing it with yoga, hiking, walking and enjoyment of the beautiful place we live. Most of all, I love a balance and sometimes a bit of meditation helps. If a few of these make you smile - and you can relate - I'd love to hear from you :)

    I have seen a lot of profiles on here that say it is hard to talk about one's self; and I totally agree. Things I know about myself is that I am a hard working person, with a high sense of responsibility. If I say I am going to do something I will do it I am protective of my friends and family, but also know when to let them fight their own battles. I don't like to be pressured and like most people (even those who do not admit it, I can get cranky too). I try my hardest in everything I do, even though there will be things I can not do. (example is anything arts and craft like). I want to try new things, expand my horizons even although sometimes I need a little encouragement; its hard to go from not doing something to trying something new. I am the type of girl who, the first time I seen the ocean I had to climb down a cliff side to touch it... I can be child like... take me to the zoo and watch my eyes light up. What I am looking for?     Some things I love...I love going for bike rides and picnics and short car ride mini-vacations... I like to go to music shows, but mostly show up for bands my friends are in these days. I love going for tea and eating muffins and having a fancy glass of wine. I like going to thrift stores and walking around small towns to look at the architecture. I'm a pretty big font nerd as I've been doing graphic design for a while now and love to look at anything with a beautiful aesthetic. I love fall, but more specifically, sunny cold days. I love taking pictures but am shy to have them taken of me. I love being funny and making people laugh. I love the challenge of figuring out something I don't know how to do and doing it. I love the beach and the lake and I love reading under the shade of a tree. I love old-timey things like cars or houses, or things that would fill a house. I love building bikes and playing music.I'm sincere, funny, sweet and easy going. I think a better impression of me would be to chat or meet in person because it's kind of difficult trying to sum yourself up like this...-y things, I basically live in west- Going for tea, maybe a beer at the beach (weather permitting), going for a bike ride or having a picnic.
