About Me

I have seen a lot of profiles on here that say it is hard to talk about one's self; and I totally agree. Things I know about myself is that I am a hard working person, with a high sense of responsibility. If I say I am going to do something I will do it I am protective of my friends and family, but also know when to let them fight their own battles. I don't like to be pressured and like most people (even those who do not admit it, I can get cranky too). I try my hardest in everything I do, even though there will be things I can not do. (example is anything arts and craft like). I want to try new things, expand my horizons even although sometimes I need a little encouragement; its hard to go from not doing something to trying something new. I am the type of girl who, the first time I seen the ocean I had to climb down a cliff side to touch it... I can be child like... take me to the zoo and watch my eyes light up. What I am looking for? Well someone who can make me laugh and accepts me for who I am. I don't like to be pressured and I will admit I can be pretty shy. I want someone who will just hug me when I have a rough day. Or on that cold day, surprise me with a ride home from work. Not asking for a mind reader or superman; just want a down to earth personI love animals, horror movies and having a good laugh. When it comes to music I listen to a mix of everything.I am not interested in a hook up, so please do not message me for that.     I am enrolled to start my upgrading for my RN, which I will be starting in January. I drink tea in the mornings, and tend to be one of those happy morning people. I have three beautiful daughters and a great friendship with their father. I have a great reliable vehicle so spontaneous roadtrips are the norm for us, with family and friends all over... its really difficult to find a reason to stay home. Our last trip took us out to Tofino, after spending a day on my uncles boat. One could describe me as fun, spontaneous, independant, driven, passionate, thoughtful, compassionate, honest. I have a real zest for life, and usually wear my heart on my sleeve.I enjoy the arts and make a point of searching out new local talents, as well as visit the galleries on a regular basis. I love history and checking out local museums, or hearing stories from older generations. I enjoy a glass of wine, or cooler in the evenings if the occasion calls for it. Don't smoke, but don't mind if others do. I work out when I can, but prefer being outdoors hiking, swimming, climbing, camping, exploring.
