BASICS PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW:- I'm LDS (aka: Mormon). Don't worry, I'm not looking for someone to convert, but I am looking for someone who is respectful and supportive of my beliefs. - I'm a teacher so much of my time is spent at my job (turns out the notion of teachers being done by 3 pm everyday is a complete misconception . . . you usually won't see me until 8 pm***but I LOVE my job. No matter how bad a day I'm having, at least one of my students will make me laugh.- I'm attracted to my age range and younger - not older so please no one over 35THINGS I LOOK FOR IN A GUY:- physically: I usually like tall and lanky- style: I tend to be attracted to the less conservative- traits: It's a no-go if you don't have the following: humility, kindness, humour . . . mean people make me meaner - and that's something I don't aspire to be- other: I also tend to be attracted to more introverted and artistic guys . . .- talking, dancing, going to plays, doing theatrical make-up. -- reading, hanging out with friends and family, eating, sleeping- TRAVELING!!!- family and friends are incredibly important to me and I dedicate a lot of time to them so I need someone who can 'share' me or integrate themselves into my circle (don't worry, I like meeting new people so I usually fit pretty easily into other's circles . . . & I promise if things work out to devote time to your people too)- I talk . . . a lot- I don't cook - though learning is on my bucket list- I love travel - and plan to keep on doing it. I'd like to eventually find someone who wants to go on adventures with me.- I am the 'driver' - in a literal not figurative sense. I'm a trucker's kid and I raced stock cars for a few years, so I don't do well in the passenger's seat . . . I am trying to get better though. So if I close my eyes or stop talking while you're driving, just let it be. You don't want to hear what I'm thinking . . . did I mention I'm trying to get better at this? My family tells me I still 'suck' in this regard though :p- I'm ridiculously impatient (yes, to a fault) and crazy busy too, so I would rather meet right off the bat versus devote a lot of time talking via ***, texts or calls to people that I may not have chemistry with (plus I don't like getting too personal with people I'm not sure I will want to be a part of my life - let's just say I've had some weird experiences!) I like food and talking so anything that incorporates those two things is great.

    Hi there! This is all a little new, but here we go! The world is big and beautiful and sometimes scary and there's always something to discover, to taste and see and feel, and strangers to meet to whom you'll tell your secrets and never see again. It's all just a bit magical really. But then I think there is magic everywhere: in the books you read, and the music that is all around and the howling wind and the long, late nights with friends. Here are just a few of my favourite things: spending time in solitude, cooking new recipes and savouring old ones, reading a newspaper on a Sunday morning with a strong cup of coffee and a sweet croissant, and it's even better with a sweeter man beside me, booking a flight or a ferry or planning a drive, a really good book - fiction or non, doesn't matter as long as I learn or feel or crave more of it and long for it when it's done, seeing an opera that pierces your heart, philosophy, politics and economics (just a little, as most of it is too intense), the pain during a nice long run and the shower afterwards if it was raining to warm you up. A good glass of wine and a night out also help!I'm pretty open minded, I do love culture and art and all kinds of very nerdy things, and mixing it with yoga, hiking, walking and enjoyment of the beautiful place we live. Most of all, I love a balance and sometimes a bit of meditation helps. If a few of these make you smile - and you can relate - I'd love to hear from you :)

    - I love my job but it takes up a lot of time and brain power- Sometimes I do things I don’t want to do, but I know they are better for me in the long run so I do them anyway - I have a hereditary problem with speaking before thinking (The positive: Due to experience, I can quite readily get myself out of awkward situations)- My sarcastic comments are always funny to me!- People tell me I can be quite stubborn - I just refuse to believe them - I have recently realized that I have been concentrating so much on my career that I have forgotten the important part of life...someone to share it with.
