About Me

If this was the real world, I'd have seen many of you at the same bar, sipping (or slamming back?) the same drinks, slow dancing to the same lonely jams, wondering the same thing: where is our better half? That's the million dollar question. I'm very excited to meet whoever you are. Truly. I've been looking for you for a long time.I don't think I'm asking/looking for much, just: someone to support, to high-five, to make breakfast for dinner for. Someone to get all crazy intimate with, to laugh so hard I snort with. Someone to look like sh*t around. Someone to want to look really hot for. Someone who enjoys the good life and thinks I'm part of that. Someone who likes to dance for seven hours straight, but is also okay to sit and watch a sun set or some waves break, with no real need to go anywhere fast, anytime soon. Someone who loves music as much as me. Maybe has a record or two they're really excited about?I'm a teacher and stupid busy, but I feel the pangs of being on my own. Having a partner in crime is just so much more fun. That being said, not looking for anything too serious off the top, but I am very open and ready for what I describe above if it came my way. You pretty much know how it's going to go right away. The disclaimers, abridged:1) I'm not interested in a lengthy ***/correspondence. Would rather just meet up and see. 2) However, I must talk to you on the phone before we meet. Something about a person's voice....3) If you can't string a simple sentence together about how you feel from time to time, I'm not your girl.4) Extra points if you love JJ Cale. Extra extra points if you think his album Troubadour is one of the most outstanding pieces of music...ever.5) If you can laugh at me AND at yourself, we're getting somewhere.6) You must have an open and beautiful heart.Peace out, fellas. Somewhere where we can have a drink and act goofy if we're so inclined.

Who knows what they're looking for? I'd like someone to enjoy my spare time with. I have two kids that keep me busy so seeing each other every day isn't really an option right off the bat ;)I want to meet someone who likes to travel and experience new things. I love to try new foods and I always love learning about anything and everything. Hiking and running are great! I want to try kayaking Skydiving is on my list for next summer and I want to participate in as many 5km "fun" runs as I can. Color me rad, mud hero, tough mudder, underwear affair.... Anything to get me outside and active with a large group of people. If you are giving the finger, smoking, or topless in front of a toothpaste splattered mirror.....please please reconsider your photos! Sigh... Dates. So much pressure. Let's just call them a first meeting and go from there

The journey to find love continues. I'm honest , down to earth and fun loving. I hate spiders but would die for animals... I have to be honest I'm attracted to Asians. Too many bad experiences with white guys. I'm not here for games. I know what I want and am still hoping some honest funny guy might take interest. Everything happens for a reason. Take care, happy fishing

Hi there! This is all a little new, but here we go! The world is big and beautiful and sometimes scary and there's always something to discover, to taste and see and feel, and strangers to meet to whom you'll tell your secrets and never see again. It's all just a bit magical really. But then I think there is magic everywhere: in the books you read, and the music that is all around and the howling wind and the long, late nights with friends. Here are just a few of my favourite things: spending time in solitude, cooking new recipes and savouring old ones, reading a newspaper on a Sunday morning with a strong cup of coffee and a sweet croissant, and it's even better with a sweeter man beside me, booking a flight or a ferry or planning a drive, a really good book - fiction or non, doesn't matter as long as I learn or feel or crave more of it and long for it when it's done, seeing an opera that pierces your heart, philosophy, politics and economics (just a little, as most of it is too intense), the pain during a nice long run and the shower afterwards if it was raining to warm you up. A good glass of wine and a night out also help!I'm pretty open minded, I do love culture and art and all kinds of very nerdy things, and mixing it with yoga, hiking, walking and enjoyment of the beautiful place we live. Most of all, I love a balance and sometimes a bit of meditation helps. If a few of these make you smile - and you can relate - I'd love to hear from you :)
