Hi guys!Just gonna keep this pretty simple, if you're interested (And I'm interested!) you'll get to know the real me and not just what's in these couple paragraphs..I'm not a high maintenance, needy girl..pretty laid back, always up for a good time. I'm drawn to people that make me laugh..sense of humour is definitely an important quality in both anyone I date or become friends with. I can laugh in most situations and have a good time. Not much shocks or offends me..lol.. Bring it ;)I like most types of music but you wont find me listening to much country or crazy metal bands. To put it broadly, mostly 90's alternative, 90's hip hop(you get the idea!) with some new crap thrown in. But it totally depends on what I'm doing at the time. I think it's silly to judge people on what kind of music they like. Everyone is different. Enjoy spending time with my friends, exploring new restaurants and pubs. But also love some serious couch time to recharge and zone out for a night with movies and wine. I recently finished a course at BCIT which kept me pretty busy the last few months. Trying to drag myself out of the restaurant industry has proven to be hard but hopefully this will be my ticket out.. Time for new challenges! Tough Mudder was my last challenge and was an experience I'll never forget, just need to decide if I'll put myself through it again next year! Like everyone I love traveling, but haven't had the opportunity to do much of it yet..but its all part of the plan! Owning a home isn't high on my must do list, purely because I want to spend as much time as I can later on exploring the world. I'm not materialistic and prefer having amazing experiences over "things". Not that I don't appreciate quality and rewarding yourself for hard work, I just don't need the best of the best all the time (except when it comes to guys! ;***Been single for a little while now, haven't had much interest in getting back into anything serious for various reasons. However that is slowly starting to change and ready to see who's out there that may spark some interest..something that starts off simple and easy, and hopefully enough chemistry for more, never know! Go somewhere to watch a game, have a drink or two. Super casual :)

Im sure people who know me well would agree that Im a caring, fun, compassionate, easy going, educated, independent women who is at a point in life where I've worked hard for my career and am bored of the single life (which includes cooking for myself!). Im very laid back in the sense that Im usually open to doing pretty much anything as long as it involves being with friends/family. Im kinda a tomboy in the sense that I love going to sporting events and concerts and will even watch most sports on TV...and yes I even drink beer! I like to explore the city, try new restaurants and hit up the beaches in the summer, but I also enjoy chilling in my lulus at home while watching a movie cuddled up to someone special. Traveling is a huge part of my down time as well. Being near or on the water will make me smile any day :) Bocce, hiking the chief/grind, gym/yoga, playing mixed slow pitch, spending time with my little nephew and volunteering as a coach for the Special Olympics also occupy my free time.The type of man Im interested in meeting is easy going, adventurous, honest, dependable and has his life together. If you can make me laugh, are active, enjoy traveling (this includes road trips!), can motivate and challenge me at times and dont play games then I think we're going to get along just fine! I'm a born and raised Vancouverite, who lives in the city, but has a country lifestyle. (But don't worry I can get away from it all on a regular basis) I spend my days outside rain or shine (I own more rain gear than anyone else I know) I can drive a tractor, know how to use power tools, can hold an intellectual conversation for more than 5 min, get along well with all ages and types of people. (I mention this because I figure these are the traits that are going to come in handy when the zombie apocalypse hits, which means I will be useful to have around;) I love the ocean and the mountains, I can't imagine living somewhere where I couldn't be near them. I take advantage of them as much as possible by hiking, climbing, skiing, canoeing, paddle boarding, and sailing. A few other things that gives you an idea of the kind of person I am...I'm very optimistic, I feel that almost anything can be solved with a positive attitude I like the idea of a small town where people get involved in their community, you know your neighbours, and people smile and say hello even if they don't know you! I like songs that I know the words to and will sing and dance along if no one is watching or if I'm tipsy enough- don't hold it against me but this does include country music!I like the problem solving aspect of making something old into something useable again I like renovating *** rebuildingI enjoy baking but I'm useless at cookingI'm just as happy camping as I am staying in a resort- however my favourite holiday is a cabin on the ocean and a large pile of booksI'm looking for someone who has their own hobbies and interests ( but shows some interest in mine as well) a quirky sense of humour, doesn't take themselves too seriously (unless it's important) and who has their own dreams and aspirations (and works at making them come true)If you're intrigued by anything you've read in my profile, drop me a line A fantastic date could include, but not be limited to...a picnicthe dog beachwatching airplanessitting around a bonfireanything to do with boats
