Oh, the about me section. I have mixed feelings about it. On the one hand, it makes sense to write about myself so you would think I'm awesome and really want to meet me. On the other hand, it is fun getting to know someone and having an about me section with too much information kind of takes away from that, right? So, here are some random facts, a few likes and dislikes, in no particular order (subject to change). The rest? You'll need to find out for yourself! - I lived in 3 different countries and traveled a lot- I get bored easily and can't sit still for very long - I always ask for the aisle seat when flying although I really prefer the window one- No one has ever been able to guess where I am originally from and I find that pretty entertaining- Exercise and eating well are important to me- I have a pretty dry/sarcastic sense of humor - I have been my own boss for 7+ years and wouldn't have it any other way. Building a business takes more time & effort, but absolutely worth itI like:- Good coffee (a bit of a coffee snob), Good food (cooking and eating out) & Good wine- Reading- The mountains and ocean- Art, mostly drawing and photography (currently figuring out food and sports photography)- My career path. I make athletes fast & keep them healthy. I could tell you how, but then I will have to kill you. I've been lucky enough to work with some of the best in the world. Awesome.- Being active - mostly running, bikes (the human powered kind) and XC skiing. Swimming too, sometimes. I am competitive, but don't compete (anymore)- Seeing new places and experiencing different cultures (a different way of saying that I like traveling... Doesn't everyone?!)- Music. Almost anything, other than countryI dislike:- Fixing flat tires on my bikes- Waiting for things to happen- Doing stuff I am not good at- Negative & lazy peopleIf you actually read the above and I have sparked your curiosity, send me a message! There may or may not be a pop quiz when we meet... ;) I should mention that I'm not a fan of messaging each other back and forth for a while before meeting in person. I like the real world better than the online one & don't see the point of hiding behind a computer screen. It depends. You could surprise me... Bonus points given to creative ideas.

So after being here for a few weeks I have decided to edit my profile and spend some more time on it.; Nothing lasts forever. This is how I live my life, I have come to a place where I know exactly what I want and who I am. I am a strong and confident single mother that strives to be the best person that I can. My friends and family are most important and I hold them higher than anything else. I learned long ago that time is the greatest gift anyone could ever give. There are so many different things that interest me and many I wish I had more time to explore. I believe that music is the strongest form of communicating with ones self. We all have that one song that speaks to our soul and another that can tell the world who we are. Having said that I write, I write whenever I feel something that I want frozen in time.When I love, I love deeply.. I give my partner all that I am. I offer my strength, my heart, body and soul. Having said that I do not love easily, trust,communication and respect are key values that are needed to make any relationship strive. Oh and Humour, without that all else fails lol.I joined this site to meet someone that I would not normally meet in my day to day life. My circle of friends is small and I have had the same ones forever, this makes it extremely hard to meet new people. I am not into the bar scene, I don't do drugs and drama and bs is not on my list of things to do. I don't sweat the small stuff and I try to make sure the big stuff is talked about before it ever becomes an issue.My ultimate goal here is to find someone to spend my life with, but I am not interested in jumping into a serious long term relationship on the first date. I like to take things as they go and if its right it will happen. Something casual yet engaging.

I'm not into drama, the fact that I don't care what most people think of me is is crucial to this. This may sound strange, but not worrying about everyone liking me is incredibly liberating, and took many years of soul searching to obtain this skill. I am a constant work in progress, and my main goal in life, is becoming the best version of me, as possible. I love spontaneity, and I am a very passionate person, but have to be selective of what I am passionate about, as it can be very exhausting.
