I love dancing, reading and traveling. (and the castles). I have a very positive attitude about most things and am willing to try new things. Some, like mountain climbing, will take a little more getting used to! I like being outdoors, but in a relaxed environment, like camping or skating. If my life were a movie, it would be a musical, but not because I can sing…I can’t! It would be all about the dancing. I’m always up for a last minute road trip, life’s too short to think too much! Here are some random facts about me:- When I get home, I take off my socks and put on my flip flops, even in the winter.- It makes me feel really smart when I know the answers on Jeopardy.- I am afraid of the dark.- I don't like mushrooms or peas.- I am more Coke than Pepsi.- I talk a lot.- Buffy rules.- I am addicted to hot yoga.- I learned to swim last year so I could do a triathlon. (Just to clarify, as I am getting questions about this one: I knew how to swim, just not enough to do a triathlon without sinking. I learned how to swim properly, is what I mean!) First dates are fun. Any activity where we both look dorky is good...like bowling! Really, anything that would give us a chance to talk and get to know each other.

This profile is under construction :) I like to keep active at the gym, playing softball and coaching skating. This winter I'm hoping to try some skiing and maybe even curling. I have 3 nieces and 2 nephews and they mean the world to me. I love spending time with friends, whether it's an activity, a drink on a patio or just sitting around talking.I am ready to find a partner to share life with, but i don't want to rush it. And meeting new friends along the way is never a bad thing. Lately I've been trying to live by the following philosophy:A professor took an empty mayonnaise jar and filled it with golf balls, pebbles, sand and two cups of coffee. The jar represents life. The golf balls are the important things, things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, life would still be full. Family, friends, health, children and favourite passions. The pebbles are things that matter, like jobs, house and car.The sand is everything else - the small stuff. If you put the sand into the jar first, there is no room for the pebbles or golf balls. The same goes for life.If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, you will never have room for the things that are important to you.Take care of the golf balls first - the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand. And the coffee is to show that no matter how full your life may seem, there is always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend. If there is anything you would like to know, just ask. Happy fishing :-) Something somewhat active to break the ice and have a chance to talk. A walk or even something silly like mini golf.
