Hi! I am a very proud mother to a handsome 8 year old boy with autism. I won't sugar coat it and pretend its easy to parent a child with autism, because its not, but it is rewarding and it is my life. That being said, if you aren't looking for a serious committed relationship then please move along. I have zero tolerance for bs. Period. Ahem... I have worked in child care for over 15 years and am currently working as a teacher at a local preschool. I'm kind of a homebody but enjoy getting out when I can. I'm definitely past the bar and partying hard days and look forward more to fun that can involve the whole family. I'm not a size 8 or a size 16. I'm pretty average and I'm totally ok with that. Although, I wouldn't mind finding someone who inspires me to be better, in any way. I'm low maintenance and you'll never catch me boasting about a ***dollar purse or pair of shoes when there's people starving in this world. I'm fairly independent and definitely not desperate although I am anxious to find "the one". It's all about quality not quantity, I would love to find someone looking for a family not just a date. Lastly, I'm sure this wont get me many fans here in the "bible belt" but I am very liberal in politics and my religious views. I am a Christian and tend to follow many of the same principles as many universalists. I am a happy person who is looking for someone to share that with. I would like to meet someone who isn't just here to make a quick buck and die without really experiencing anything. I want someone sensitive who is really looking for a companion, and someone to share their life with. Not OK!!!!I am not perfect nor is my ideal mate, i think it has more to do with loving someone because of there imperfections not in spite of. I am looking for someone honest, genuine and original.
