Hi! I am a very proud mother to a handsome 8 year old boy with autism. I won't sugar coat it and pretend its easy to parent a child with autism, because its not, but it is rewarding and it is my life. That being said, if you aren't looking for a serious committed relationship then please move along. I have zero tolerance for bs. Period. Ahem... I have worked in child care for over 15 years and am currently working as a teacher at a local preschool. I'm kind of a homebody but enjoy getting out when I can. I'm definitely past the bar and partying hard days and look forward more to fun that can involve the whole family. I'm not a size 8 or a size 16. I'm pretty average and I'm totally ok with that. Although, I wouldn't mind finding someone who inspires me to be better, in any way. I'm very sarcastic and love anyone who can make me laugh I'm a simple woman and try to focus on the things that are really important in life. I'm low maintenance and you'll never catch me boasting about a ***dollar purse or pair of shoes when there's people starving in this world. I'm fairly independent and definitely not desperate although I am anxious to find "the one". It's all about quality not quantity, I would love to find someone looking for a family not just a date. Lastly, I'm sure this wont get me many fans here in the "bible belt" but I am very liberal in politics and my religious views. I am a Christian and tend to follow many of the same principles as many universalists. Now that I've got your attention, 'cause let's face it, what guy doesn't love that phrase?Here goes, lol.Ok, I love Longhorns football. A lot. Football season is my Christmas.I like spending time outside, ie.. 4wheeling (i have my own bike), camping... I love music. Mostly I prefer country (esp TX country) but will listen to just about anything. I'm not a salad eating girl. I like food and it's even better if whatever it is is topped with cheese and/or bacon. Bacon makes everything better. :) I have a 10 yr old son who is my life and I have him ***. So if you're not into kids, thanks for looking, but keep on truckin. I'm not entirely sure what I'm looking for right now but I do know that I'm not looking for a one-nighter or for a 'friend with benefits'. I can go to any bar and find that with a lot less effort than having to fill this thing out. Dinner & a few drinks over a game of pool/darts.
