*Before I begin..please read my profile before deciding to send me a message..makes sense. Also, it is very easy for me to see through people, so right off the bat I will likely be able to determine where your head is at. Just thought I would include this disclaimer in with my profile which I have come to find is very necessary on a dating site..especially this one for some reason.*Hello! So a little about me... I am a very optimistic person and believe that most things in life happen for a reason. In all experiences in life presents the opportunity to learn and grow to be the best person you can be. I have come to admire Einstein's quote regarding the idea of insanity of repeating the same behaviors over and over and expecting a different result..If someone is showing you who they are, then believe them. To me, it is useless to keep going down the same path with the same kinds of people resulting back at square one hence repeating the same behaviors over and over. I do a lot of reflecting of my life and have learned so much about myself up to this point.. I truly know what I expect from myself as well as what I expect from someone that wants to be a part of my life.I do love going out and meeting new people, hanging out with close friends and spending time with my family. This does not mean that I object to quiet evenings in with a good book and glass of wine.. I can be a total dork and find enjoyment in the smallest things so it can be said it does not take much to make me happy :) I find that "ME" time is important to me..I am an independent person and would love to meet someone that will add to my life. With that being said, I am single because I choose to be, until I meet that special person with whom I can really connect with. I can be a real goofball and don't believe that anyone should take themselves too seriously...life is way too short! I love laughing and love to make people laugh. Let's just say that I have fun-loving friends and don't get along much with people that are over-intellectual, judgmental and too serious. Good times with people you love means much more to me than what money can buy..memories are priceless!Since I know what I want and what I don't want, I can be a little picky in relationships and do not want to settle otherwise the whole idea of dating is pointless. He does not have to be perfect, perfect is boring, but he needs to be sweet and caring, and have a soft spot for me. I have a weakness for kind eyes, dimples, and tattoos. I love children and do not mind dating someone who is a father, as long as you are able to make time for getting to know me. I have many things in my life that I give my time to as well, including family and some wonderful friends. I believe that each individual in a couple should make time away from one another, to spend time with friends, or pursue interests, or just be. First dates are tricky. A balance between time for getting to know one another and an activity is always good. Grabbing a coffee, or iced tea for me, and going for a walk in the park (I will get you to swing on the swings) or a car ride is always nice. Playing pool is fun too, though I am really horrible at pool and expect you to be nice about it, but some teasing is obviously warrented give how bad I am LOL. First dates are always wonderful if we are laughing often, lightly flirting, and hoping for a second date.
