I have been on and off this site a few times. I have met some really amazing guys on here, but for one reason or another, I have yet to find that one guy that makes me say to myself, WOW..this guy is truly amazing! After working as a 4th grade teacher for six years, I recently took a position as a math resource teacher, and work with kids in grades 3-5. I love my new job and the kids I work with. I feel it is important to love what you do, or you end up with a "job" *** career. So what makes me unique....hmm! I am one of a kind. I enjoy a wide variety of things from running 5K's, riding my bike, and taking super long walks, to watching movies, exploring DC's museums, and taking a road trip. I am also not opposed to staying in and watching a movie on the couch, after a super long week. You would also never have to twist my arm to check out a good 80s band...but they better be good. I have found that experiences in life teach you what you do and do not want. I know exactly what I am looking for, and will not settle until I find it. I think when you find the right person....you just know. It will be that one person that will never disappoint you. Suprise me!

Overall, I’m a pretty independent person. I’m not needy, and I’m not looking for someone who’s needy. I don’t mean to sound ungrateful, I just want to put it out there.As far as my interests go, last summer I took up running, and I think I’ve done fairly well so far. I also knit in my free time, just something I learned to do a couple years ago. I’m in the process of knitting a Doctor Who scarf. I enjoy sitting on the porch watching a good thunderstorm, as well as I like to tour wineries. I’m a back office supervisor for a large healthcare company in the area and would like to continue advancing within the company.
