I think I hate these "write about who you are" boxes more than snakes...how do you portray who you are in a few random sentences? Well here it goes...I like to do many different things and cannot say that I have "hobbies" because I get bored if I do one thing all the time. I love reading and am a history nerd (kinda have to be since I teach it). Love the beach, the pool, summer, drinking with friends, the lake, and doing active things outdoors. I'm a dork and extremely sarcastic...if you don't have a sense of humor please do not inquire within. I'm not gonna lie, I'm a catch haha I haven't found anyone yet because I have been told I'm picky...but I truly feel that if you are going to be with one person for the rest of your life, you should be picky. So what am I looking for in a guy? Someone who can make me laugh and Who I enjoy being around, someone who shares similar interests, honesty is HUGE, and someone who is educated. Don't try and pull some game, b/c I will see through it every time...I am not looking for hookups so if that is what you want, go for it, but don't waste my time. I am really looking for someone to spend my time with, a companion. I guess if you want to know anything else, just ask :)

I think that my ideal first date would be to go on a hike. Enjoy the beautiful scenery. Talk along the way and get to know each other. Then after the nice hike maybe following a cup of coffee at the local coffee shop and continue getting to know each other. First impressions are always a plus. It is the most important part of getting to know someone.

    I'm a quirky kinda of girl. I grew up a tom boy and although sometimes I like wearing a dress and skirt, I honestly feel more comfy in jeans and flip flops. My feet HATE being in shoes! I will wear flip flops year round, and I even keep a pair at work :) I am a crafty kind of girl (no not in the Beastie Boys kinda crafty way). I love to cook and bake which makes it hard to scale down recipes for only 1 person. That being said, I'm not afraid of leftovers lol. I love taking my dog Hunny to dog park, the beach or for hikes. My friends would describe me as a great car dancer, good listener, shy, funny, and sometimes out there. I do tend to have a "sailors mouth" when I get upset, but that is a rare thing. I have also picked up knitting over the past year or so and enjoy making things for people out of a ball of yarn. Along with making things I guess I could include making cleaning products like laundry soap. I know stupid but way cheap :) Oh and I am starting to look into apartment gardening.Let's see, what else. Movies: I am not a Rom-com, chick flick kind of girl. I do have some chick flick movies, but the majority of them are Sci Fi, Comedy, and even action. I also own The Beatles "A Hard Day's Night" and "Help". Music: I know it sound cliche, but yes I do listen to everything, although I do tend to stay with country, 91X and 94.9 majority of the time. Is an abusive relationship, but hey, I do love them :)Family is very important to me. I have a large "family" althought only 4 are real family. The other 4 are my sons adoptive family. He knows who I am and we have a great bond. His entire family has taken me in as one of their own and therefore, they are family.I have only scratched the surface of me, so if you want to know anything else, feel free to ask :) Ahhhh the dreaded 1st date question. I'm sure most girls are like "Dinners and drinks" or "Let's go to the beach". Me, its not really a date the 1st time we meet so how about just coffee or something where we can talk :)
