I spent 2 months on safari in Africa a few years ago, it changed the way I saw my life and the people around me. I do all the normal things, eat.. sleep... shower... but I also do some different things. I scuba dive, train animals (dolphins, sea lions and even some monkies), milk cows and lifeguard. I really like emergency medicine, I'm an EMT-wilderness and a rescue scuba diver. I want to train a search and rescue dog someday. I'm an over achiever in most areas of my life but a slacker at heart, I enjoy a night at home watching TV as much as going out to a club. It doesn't matter where I am as long as the conversation is stimulating and it doesn't smell that bad. When you've trained search and rescue dogs in the local dump you'll understand... it doesn't matter how cool the person or how great the conversation: you are in a dump. I love to travel and have a few trips planned for this year. I'm working on my doctorate and work full time but I always make time for fun, its the only way I stay sane in my profession.

I enjoy music from the 70's, 80's, and 90's and soft rock and even big band music on occasion. I am a traditional woman. Sorry to be blunt at this point, but I suppose it is best that I tell you now. I think it very "sexy", if you will,...that a man comes to pick a woman up, opens the door for her and pulls out her chair. It is the simple things in life that go the farthest for me. Going out to dinner and having a place to talk and get to know one another would be great and then continuing it by doing something fun afterwards where we could lighten up and laugh and joke would be wonderful. I am interested in getting to know your goals, dreams, future plans, and even your past. Hey, we all have things we would rather leave behind, but they are a part of your life and should be shared as they are what makes you who you are.
