About Me

I am a single mother... I have a quarter of a dozen kids (3)... its just me- I know nothing about every other weekend & holiday stuff..... I love history. Intelligent conversation gives me goosebumps... I have never been a fan of proofreading- but recognize its benefits. I appreciate correct grammar and the ability to spell as an adult should. Autumn is my favorite time of year, with a close second being spring. I love the changing colors of the leaves and the crisp air. But now Old Man Winter is not leaving and brrrr... I STILL need someone to keep me warm! Pet peeves? We all have 'em. Some of mine:*incorrect use of words- many men seem to be online to meet the perfect womEn- polygamy is not my thing. Neither are "polyamorous relationships" ;-} same with they're, their, there- to, too, two, etc.*lying- only the truth is true*Ignorance- willingless to learn can compensate*poor manners- please, thank you, etc.I'm a giver more than a taker... I enjoy being able to do things for the special people in my life- even if I often end up walked all over. My bff said to put out positive energy and positive will come back- so I am expecting a bucket load of positive any day now! :) until then, I will try to keep my faith in man's goodness and wait for that courageous one to join me in my journey- I can promise it will rarely be dull! :) BODY WORLDS at Science Museum!!     I love reading in the summer I love the beach I try to take walks whenI can. The best part of summer for me is I get to spend almost every day with my daughter. No I don't work. I used to but 2 years ago I was in a car accident. A young woman was text messaging and didn't know traffic had stopped and hit me while swerving and destroyed my neck my back and my lower back leaving me unable to work any standard job. Until then I had worked a steady job for over 13 years. Therefore I use the time to do what I enjoy which is my daughter. Enjoy the sun etc. I love to fish. Body faults and all. I love deeply and I will hold on tightly. I do have bad days but I do my best. If there is a guy out there that has a good heart. Is NOT looking for one night stands and just a toy to play around with please *** a first date I would love the date to pick me up, take me to dinner and a movie. Perhaps a walk afterwards. I am looking for a bit of the old fashioned dating. The wondering if he will open doors for me, bring flowers, hold the chair, hold my hand and what not. It may sound foolish but it's just something I never really got to experience.
