I can honestly say, I don't know what to make of this process. I hear so many stories of crazy women, takers, users and people posing as something they're not. It just doesn't make sense to me. Maybe that's why, when I say "you can trust me" and that I am who I say I am, there is so much doubt in those eyes of yours. I've learned one important thing from this site; there are a lot of men that have been hurt very deeply by some woman in their life, and that's just not ok. I know everyone has had their share of drama, but the kind of intentional hurt is so unnecessary. As you read this, you don't know me so you can't know my true character...but I hope, at some point, you can ultimately discover that I'm not "one of those" women. There are a few of us out there that simply love to enjoy life, watch football, listen to live music and laugh until my cheeks hurt and just want to be a part of a relationship.Just as I believe there are truly good guys out there, I'm one of the "good ones" too. I'm not out for someone's hard earned money, things or status. As unusual as it may be, I'm just looking for a real, honest, grown up relationship with one man...no games, no drama, no "let's be friends". I have only one primary goal in life, and that is to be truly happy and to make my partner happy. no expectations...just a simple place to meet & talk...of course, this would also require that we live in the same state. So, as nice as you may seem to me, please be honest in realizing that a long distance relationship is not realistic. :)

Do you open your windows in early spring, even when it's raining? Do you know the difference between Baroque and Renaissance architecture? Is your book collection bulging off of your shelves and spilling onto the end tables of your livingroom?;formal"? When you walk into a friends's house, what's the first thing you notice? Perhaps friends view you as a tiny bit quirky, yet thoughtful, reliable and grounded. Do you look at people with a blank expression when they ask you "who will be this year's Best Drama Series?" Is there sometimes dirt under your fingernails and mud in the tread of your hiking boots?I have a reliable, fantastic job, but off the clock I paint; sometimes, big oversized murals, sometimes canvas-sized paintings. My love of art and literature spills over into my personal and professional life. But don't give me the artsy stereotype; I have a grasp of economics and business and am not afraid to use it.It's been almost four years since my divorce and most of the scales have fallen from my eyes! I cherish my family and friends, count my enormous collection of blessings each day, and look forward to a relationship that is tender, thoughtful and nourishing. If you have a couple bumps and scars, it probably means that you have acquired some wisdom along the way. Let's share a bit of our vision with each other! I am a bit artsy, a bit of a fashionista, a writer, a bookworm, a hopeless romantic, a Mother, a friend and so much more than a description in a drop down box. But isn't everyone? :) In summer you can usually find me zipping around in my little car, camera slung over my shoulder looking for that weathered old barn or perfect shot. . Love photography. The beach. Boating. Sipping sangria on an outdoor patio. Or with the right person, nothing at all other than interesting conversation & a glass of wine.In the winter I like....well, I don't really like the winter...lol. But I'm certainly open to giving winter a chance. And I COULD be talked into enjoying a fire, a good movie and a bottle of Chardonnay after skating or cross country skiing. But really? It's not what you do...it's who you do it with :) I'm hoping to do it with a smart , sexy, professional man who hasn't yet lost his sense of humour, positive attitude & passion for life. Simple, uncomplicated, with little baggage. Random thoughts...Laughter really is the best medicine.Passion is important. If you don't live with passion, are you even living?You can’t really begin to appreciate life until it has knocked you down a few times. (The important question is: Did you get back up?) A flash in the pan may dazzle the senses, but a slow burning flame feeds the heart and soul :) It's the journey...not the destination.
