I enjoy relationship!! I like to ask lots of questions. I want to know about your past, your hopes for the future, your favorite birthday memories, your least favorite birthday memories (those make for great stories, unfortunately), etc. I want to know and be known. My faith is of primary importance to me. However, I have issues with current Christian culture and am not a typical churchgoer. That places me in the strange place of being independent and yet very tethered at the same time. It's a tough one to explain...so I won't even try. :)I was married for 21 years and have been separated for over two years. Getting divorced has been a long and miserable process. I'm hoping that the end is in sight!! I'm a little hesitant to plan anything too detailed for a first date. I think a quick coffee is a good choice, though not the most creative or romantic option; those can come later when it doesn't feel so weird (am I the only one who feels so awkward on that first "meet and greet"?).

I can honestly say, I don't know what to make of this process. I hear so many stories of crazy women, takers, users and people posing as something they're not. It just doesn't make sense to me. Maybe that's why, when I say "you can trust me" and that I am who I say I am, there is so much doubt in those eyes of yours. I've learned one important thing from this site; there are a lot of men that have been hurt very deeply by some woman in their life, and that's just not ok. I know everyone has had their share of drama, but the kind of intentional hurt is so unnecessary. As you read this, you don't know me so you can't know my true character...but I hope, at some point, you can ultimately discover that I'm not "one of those" women. There are a few of us out there that simply love to enjoy life, watch football, listen to live music and laugh until my cheeks hurt and just want to be a part of a relationship.Just as I believe there are truly good guys out there, I'm one of the "good ones" too. I'm not out for someone's hard earned money, things or status. As unusual as it may be, I'm just looking for a real, honest, grown up relationship with one man...no games, no drama, no "let's be friends". I have only one primary goal in life, and that is to be truly happy and to make my partner happy. no expectations...just a simple place to meet & talk...of course, this would also require that we live in the same state. So, as nice as you may seem to me, please be honest in realizing that a long distance relationship is not realistic. :)

Hope you're not allergic… Was in a 20-yr marriage that ended 8 yrs ago due to his disabling anxiety-disorder issues. Easily recognize players and have zero tolerance for that kind of selfishness. Tend to gravitate toward men who smile naturally a lot, have dark hair and are between 5'9-6'3. Confess I prefer fairly short hair (shaved head is nice too :) Really like clean-shaven face...and more...Just sayin’… LOL Putt-putt golf. Some place to talk and have a nice conversation. I enjoy sharing an appetizer and/or drinks. If it's nice out, a walk by the beach is always interesting.
