Second time around.... Where do I start,.... After a brief stint on Match, I realized that since my life is already wonderful, I rather be by myself than put up with the masked men I have met. I decided to give it another shot, in hopes that there is a good guy out there... Hopefully I won't be here too long. I am a former New Yorker and get homesick for my city.. I love to cook for others, cooking is my passion. I am a very compassionate person and believe in honesty. I am the go to person when my friends are in need. I help and rationalize situations that I sometimes even amaze myself. I volunteer my time to help others. People who know me say they make a friend for life. Music is my lifeline, I enjoy all types (except country), listening just soothes my soul. I have three children, two live away.. one left. My children are my world; they help me see my life more clearly. I am looking for a gentlemen, I am a hopeless romantic..... I am looking for my last first date.

I am really simple I like to do most anything. I enjoy trying new things I have not done before. Except bungie jumping. I like going camping fishing. I like watching movies. Quiet romantic dinners. Love going to car races. Golf, watching golf. Love animals. I also enjoy hanging out at home sometimes. Thats a good question. I think a first date should be all about coversation over coffee or a drink. Maybe going to a tavern would help cut the ice a liitle. Works for me music in the back ground. Somewhere thats not loud but has action.

Well, like I said... here I go again on my own... I've been here a couple times and have met some good folks but for whatever reason it just didn't work out. I can be a little hard-headed at times, so I thought what the heck, give it another shot and see what happens next.Me ? I'm just a ole country gal...sweet tea, boots 'n jeans...'til it's river time, then cut offs, flip-flops 'n tshirt and a cold beer. I love to be surrounded by friends and family...but the quiet of a walk in the woods, down a county road, sitting by the fire, camping suits me just fine. I am honest, loyal and faithful - do not have time or tolerance for stupidity, game playing, liars, cheats and/or laziness. I'm on the redneck side, but I do know how to turn on the class when the occasion requires it. I can shoot guns, sit a horse, ride a motorcycle, skin a deer, and even cook up those fish we caught. I am not materialistic or fake...what you see is what you get.I am generally adventurous / spontaneous, but I can organize and plan a party, get-together and get-away. I've learned that nothing is written in stone so it's good that flexibility and adaptability are my nature. I do like to travel, do flea markets, garage sales, go out to dinner, movie and dance...maybe throw a bowling ball, etc. I am not materialistic, jealous nor selfish. I've been told I have a quick wit and big sense of humor, which is good 'cause I love to laugh ! I tend to be the "glass half full" personality, finding something positive and/or humorous to most situations.I'm a "piddler" - gotta keep my hands busy. I don't think I'm "crafty" but I do enjoy carving and branding leather (billfolds, belts, etc); I do some beading and scrap-booking, and yes, I will occasionally sew. I read a little here and there, mostly mystery/drama novels.I reckon I'm looking to find that one person who enjoys some of the same, and adds a few new interests for me. Someone I can count on, who takes me as I am, without trying to mold me into what he thinks is his perfect, or a replacement for the one he lost...mutual admiration and respect, and genuine interest in each other's life lessons and hopes for future experiences. When we hit it off, I would hope we each want us to be individuals together and not a couple separate.I've just gotten into a few TV shows...Duck Dynasty; Gator Boys, Swamp People... Movies I like Comedies and Drama, most anything but not into futuristic stuff. Music - I love it all, well I say all, meaning no rap - I realize it's "art" but it ain't music to me. LOL Country and Classic Rock are my faves.I hope this hasn't bored you to tears or been too overwhelming so we will have something to talk about later on.... If things haven't changed too much, I assume most folks say, "dinner and a movie" or "meet 'n greet for conversation". Me? I'd like to count stars...take a back-road drive...sit by a fire...or go for ice cream....no pressure, no expectations, just be ourselves.
