About Me

Seeking leading man to play in a variety of scenes - musicals, comedies, love stories, very few dramas.Must be comfortable performing in scenes involving music, sports, home improvement, cooking, summertime activities, travel. Must also be willing to create scenes of your own for sharing. Some improvisation/spontaneity also required.Physical characteristics for this role would include: ***age range, approximately 5'6"-6'3" height, average or above physique, although the right personality may over rule this.In all seriousness, theater is a big part of my life, hence the intro to my profile, but I'm interested in many other things also, so here goes . . .I sometimes refer to myself as a refined redneck . . . Refined - As previously stated, I am very involved in theater life - mostly volunteering in Front of the House, but have done some acting ***shows to date - Footloose, White Christmas and Heaven Can Wait and now working on Hello Dolly. Also have done assistant stage managing and taming the light board. Love to travel, especially to warm weather destinations; like to cook and eat good food; dance, golf, live music, a good glass of wine.Redneck - country music is my favorite, but I can listen to just about anything except rap or head banging. I like to play pool, darts, bowling, singing karaoke, a good bottle of beer or a nicely mixed Captain/coke, dive bars. I'd probably never say NO to a motorcycle ride. Have a couple small tattoos.I'm also a bit of a tomboy - I can usually keep up with the guys' sports talk - like most sports and can usually watch any of them if I'm in the mood. Like to summer fish (bass, northern), but not too keen on ice fishing - too much of a freeze baby! I can take a weekend of camping as long as I'm close to a hot shower and a comfortable bed after a couple days. I like most animals, except reptiles, would like to learn how to shoot a gun.Other information to note - LIKES - festivals and fairs, exploring small towns, seafood, pizza, anything grilled, summer. DISLIKES - winter, fakes, too much drama, overbearing people.I've marked that I smoke occasionally - I go back and forth between smoking and not - some days good and some days not so good. Maybe you can help make more good days? Switching back and forth between an e-cigarette and the real thing - depending on stress level.     I am confident in who I am and I am looking for someone to share common interests, laughter and romance. Make me laugh and my heart will usually follow. Laughter is very important to me as I work hard and really enjoy someone I can be myself with and leave the worries of the day and the office at the office. I am a southern girl at heart and a slight accent can be detected on occasion, but for the most part it has gone with the multiple places I have lived. However, before all you Eagles fans stop reading at this point, I do pull for the Eagles - just not when they are playing the Cowboys :-)I am financially secure and have full custody of my two sons who are the "lights of my life". My oldest son is in his second year of college and my youngest is a senior in high school. I am easily pleased with a random act of kindness and thoughtfulness and enjoy doing the same for someone special in my life. I need to feel like I am in a relationship that both individuals meet and compromise when needed....a true partnership. I am affectionate and need to have closeness. My life is very busy and I don't have time for games or drama, so the ideal person for me would easily distract me to the point I am calm and content. I take my health and exercise seriously. I work out a minimum of 6-days/week. I completed my second Broad Street Run last year. I finished before they opened the roads, didn't throw up and I wasn't last. Great! If all goes well, I am doing my first full triathlon in Atlantinc City in September. It's on the bucket list to do one so now or never, I guess. I am not a great swimmer, so need to keep working on that part of the race. I figured... :-) I finished it. Sloooooowly. Ha!I believe when you feel healthy; everything seems possible and easier in life. I generally eat a healthy diet but I have been known to indulge in a cheese steak, chickie and pete’’t forget…..great chocolate. Some other "firsts" Lucia. I went to a combo bootcamp/spa. I worked hard during the day, relax in late afternoon at the spa, and they have lots music and dancing at night.....perfect. Yes.....they do have such places as bootcamp/spas. I also just returned from my first trip to Europe. I went with my 17 year old son over his spring break and it was amazing. I am looking for someone that isn’t afraid to pursue something special with a person when there is a connection to see where it goes. If you are a serial dater or player, I am not the right person for you and you should pass me by. I am honest and I am very open about the way I think and feel and expect the same from a partner. I have met several people that turned out to not be exactly as they portrayed themselves to be. It that's you....please, spare my heart and pass me by. I am the kind of person that would love to have my last “first date”. I am just having trouble finding that feeling and believing it is possible. I have a sense of adventure and love going new places trying new things or just watching the sun go down in the backyard with a glass of wine. You can find me running the boardwalk in the morning, riding my bike and then hanging at the beach at noon. I love it. My pictures are recent and yes....I am 51.
