Hi, thanks for stopping by.’ve lived in TX-7 months, CA-1 month and 1 day and Upstate NY-6 ½ years. Both my parents are gone now, but I still think about them every day. I’m the second child of four. I guess you can say I placed. I have two daughters, 1 son-in-law and two grandsons. I also have a large extended family. When I was growing up it was jokingly said that I was related to half the town and the other half were in the military. Unfortunately it wasn’t a joke. I will defend, fight for, back and stand up for my family, friends, and significant other. I am loyal to a tee.I own my own house (ok technically the bank still owns it), but every month it’s getting closer and closer to being just mine and not “ours”. I have a good job. I work in the accounting field. I’ve been working in the accounting field for ***years. This should prove to you that I stick with something I love, or it could just possibly mean that I’m stubborn and I don’t like change. I’ll go with the first option, but you’ll have to judge this one for yourself.I’ve recently started a bucket list. Mind you, I’m in no hurry to complete it just yet. I want to stick around for a long time. I have one item on the list so far (I need to work on this). My one and only item is to visit every state. I’ve been to 42 so far. Any takers out there that would like to help me complete this item and help me add to the list? Here’s a few more things about me and why. I'm a jeans, t-shirt and flipflop kind of girl, but I can dress up when I need to. I love to cook and I’m a pretty good cook, but I would rather cook for someone other than just myself. I like going out to dinner, but sometimes it’s just nice staying in and cooking something together. I don’t go to movies much. I prefer sitting on the couch, having a glass of wine and snuggling while watching a movie. You can’t do all of that in a theatre. I like listening to music and going to concerts. Right now I’m into the new/pop country, but I’ll listen to just about anything. I like to dance and I’m not afraid to get out on a dance floor. If push comes to shove though, I would rather slow dance with someone. You actually get to hold your partner. I’m a passionate person. I like to give hugs and kisses and I don’t mind receiving them either. However, there is a time and a place for everything. I try and treat people the way I would like to be treated. I don’t/won’t play games with people’s feelings because I surely don’t want it done to me. If you ask me something, I will give you an honest answer and I would expect the same in return. My vocabulary does include please and thank you. I try not to take things too seriously, but when and if I need to be serious I can and will be. However, I prefer laughter and playing around above anything else. I have a good sense of humor and I’ve been told that I’m extremely witty. Life is just too short not to enjoy it.Someone once asked me, “If you could trade places with anyone in this world for one day, who would you want to trade places with?” My answer was, “no one.” I don’t want to miss out on one second of my life. I like who I am, what I’ve become and I’m confident in my own skin. My parents raised me well. I do have my faults though. I’ve never been perfect, I’m not now nor will I ever be, but I believe my good qualities outweigh the faults. Last, but not least. What am I looking for in a man/relationship? I don’t want Mr. Right; I just want to meet the right person for me. I don’t need someone to take care of me, I just want someone to share my life with. Hi there! I was on this site once before and I must admit it was interesting. I laugh when I read the funny yet sadly true traits you men don't want in a woman. So maybe I should make you laugh by telling you that like all woman, I am not psycho, I don't expect you to pay my bills as I can support myself, my kids are grown and until I really know you much much better, I am not sharing my grandchildren with you. I have 2 Old English Sheepdogs and 1 cat. I also have 10 pounds to lose so if you are expecting Barbie, its not me. I am an excellent cook and enjoy doing it. I am also the grill master! There is nothing like grilling, playing bags and having a couple beers to make a summer weekend relaxing. I enjoy the theater and movies. Jigsaw puzzles relax me. I enjoy the winter and do like snow (never a popular thing to admit). I know - BORING!!!!!There is so much more to a person than what can be written on a singles site, lets chat! I am silly, funny, crazy...I love to break out in song and dance anywhere and everywhere. But I can be serious when I have to be. I have been told that I have a gentle heart and a good soul. It is being in the presence of Mother Earths nature and being humbled in reverence.
