I find it difficult to talk about myself unless asked specific questions. I'm a little shy at first, but once you get to know me I think (and my friends think too) that I can be a lot of fun. I'm not high-maintenance but I do expect respect and consideration. If I truly care about someone just spending time with them is enough. That doesn't mean I don't like to be pampered every once in a while and I enjoy pampering my significant other too. As long as it works both ways. Fifty years young and enjoying life just missing that someone special to enjoy it with! Dedicated single Mom of two; one in college the other in High School next year. Great job that affords me the opportunity to work from home....no travel, no commute, what more could you ask for! Yes, I will admit, I do enjoy sports both as a spectator and participant; I can shoot a few hoops as well as cheer for the team. Enjoy hiking, walks, biking and when I make the time, the gym. Skiing too but will admit still a tad cautious...I blame it on learning later in life. I am easy going and relaxed, serious when needed but always full of laughter; the best medicine of course.; many words spoken of me to those who know me. The man I seek, similar to the above but with some differences; I look for a partner to not only share time with but to grow and learn with; a compliment to each other. Lets be truthful, man and woman...well we do think differently! I like to view it as compliment, encourage and work together as a team; a best friend to whom each can count on.I own my own home and take pride in maintaining it. I enjoy gardening and mowing the lawn; both for me reduce stress. Not perfect and have some flaws - don't we all?? Family is extremely important to me; my children are and always will be #1. I am blessed with a wonderful life including many loving family & friends; little else matters. I'm self sufficient + looking for same. I have a home & car & hope you do too. I seek a man to become intimate with-over time, but not in a hurry. I'm neither desperate nor co-dependent. I know how to be alone & quiet & enjoy my own company. However, though capable of fun on my own, I want HIM, a fun man to ENJOY & Share life with. I am looking for what I AM: honest & genuine, serious at times, silly others... hard working (smarter not harder is good too) I have a best friend with advanced cancer now (as I type this) and I KNOW life is Short & Precious. I want to live it. I DO LIVE IT. Want to join me? I don't & won't spend much time typing back-n-forth, as I prefer to meet in person because it is most revealing. Our 1st "date" (if we get that far) will be after our 1st "meeting-introduction" and that can be "Dutch Treat"... worry not, as I'm not looking for a free drink or meal...
