I do smoke and don't think you can go on a mission to get me to quit...won't happen until I'm good and ready (maybe when they are about to lower the coffin lid and send me into the flames :)...oh yeah, very dark sense of humour...love a good bottle of chilled white wine....and do believe in ghosts (I think one is living with me now and not paying any rent to boot) :) but seems like a friendly dude, the dogs and cat don't seem to mind too much and it hasn't kicked me out of bed yet :) I work because I have to but plan on retiring as soon as my lotto numbers come up...then it is off to Europe, the Caribbean, and where ever my heart desires (guess that will be in my next life....if I don't end up coming back as a Golden Retriever that is) !!Oh yeah, and I hate to shop...do it out of necessity and then only at the last minute....malls scare me...but I do love Giant Tiger !!Absolutely no baggage here...everything is totally behind me and has been for a long while and "I feel great"!! Quiet, one on one time, just to talk and find out if we have enough in common to continue to the next date...

Looking for that special person to share life experiences with. Wanted...a breathing, upright walking man, who only grunts on occasion. One who can carry on a conversation, is kind, funny and endearing to me. He would have a good job/comparable to mine (which means I'm not rich nor will I ever be lol,)or retired from a successful career. He is pleasing to my eyes. He would gain brownie points if he has a nice sense of humor and great personality! Also, he would love to spend time with me but also has interests of his own which we either can share or go off on our own at times. About me...I have a sense of humor...if you didn't pick up on that yet...maybe a little warped at times??? I love to banter back and forth with someone who can also be witty....but I only banter in a non demeaning way. Easy going would best describe me...I never hold a grudge or have the need to rehash things. What is done is done and hopefully we would be able to discuss calmly any problem that would arise. I am a very calm person....probably from years of experience in my personal life and profession.I love the arts....concerts, plays,crafts...etc. As far as sports...I must admit, I am a fan when attending sports....I would watch some sports on TV with you...but only can stay awake with fast action sports...such as basketball and hockey...maybe I have a little bit of an attention deficit??? I would sincerely try to stay awake.......do have an interest in learning how to golf...probably need lessons or a teacher who has patience...have attempted a little bit and gained a new respect for the game.Well enough for now...the rest will have to be discussed. So if I have stirred an interest...you know where to find me. Personally, I don't think it is important what you do. What is important is to enjoy being with that "Special" person.I probably like what most woman like...the little things are what counts in a relationship, and getting to know someone.I do enjoy going to many functions, activities, etc...from simple to festive.

Although I have a serious side, I enjoy a laugh, joke or witty comment just about any time of day and believe if you can dish it you'd better be able to take it...however being deliberately mean or hurtful just sucks. I also enjoy cooking/baking, good movies and documentaries, long slow walks, a good book, lovin' on my kids and grandkids, spending time with friends, my cat and last but not least, singing along to karaoke or the car radio (former member of Sweet Adeline's acapella choir***I would love to sing a song for you too. I enjoy almost all genre's of music, with the exceptions of opera, heavy metal and certain kinds of rap. Currently my favourite is country - back to my roots. 'You can take the girl out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the girl'...lol. I firmly believe that any relationship depends on two things: trust, which must be earned and honesty, which must be given. being genuine and open minded are other qualities that I admire in others. Kind and warm hearted is a must! Romance has been gone from my life for a long time and is sorely missed. I believe sexy is in the attitude, not just the appearance, and that anything worth having is worth putting effort into. Communication is key. Even though I am generally a homebody, I do love to go out on "dates", may seem a little old fashioned, but is definitely fun. Public displays of affection, must be welcomed or at least tolerated easily...lol I can also be spontaneous and like a "little run for my money"....spice up my life. P.S. Respect and Common Sense goes a long way with me. I grew up with excellent morals and values and hold on to those to this day (not to say I am perfect, far from it indeed).I know that a persons physicality is not a measuring stick to "size" up a persons worth, but I am a tall woman and prefer someone at least my height or taller ***cm). I am working out and getting more exercise and cooking healthier, making a better me with a brighter, healthier outlook on life.Life is short, take a chance and always remember...." A get-to-know-you date, nothing stressful or full of pressure, maybe a coffee or glass of wine and enough privacy to talk without having to yell at each other....short, sweet and too the point...just like me, except I'm tall...lol
