I do smoke and don't think you can go on a mission to get me to quit...won't happen until I'm good and ready (maybe when they are about to lower the coffin lid and send me into the flames :)...oh yeah, very dark sense of humour...love a good bottle of chilled white wine....and do believe in ghosts (I think one is living with me now and not paying any rent to boot) :) but seems like a friendly dude, the dogs and cat don't seem to mind too much and it hasn't kicked me out of bed yet :) I work because I have to but plan on retiring as soon as my lotto numbers come up...then it is off to Europe, the Caribbean, and where ever my heart desires (guess that will be in my next life....if I don't end up coming back as a Golden Retriever that is) !!Oh yeah, and I hate to shop...do it out of necessity and then only at the last minute....malls scare me...but I do love Giant Tiger !!Absolutely no baggage here...everything is totally behind me and has been for a long while and "I feel great"!! Quiet, one on one time, just to talk and find out if we have enough in common to continue to the next date...

Hry guys! I am sitting here going through endless profiles as all others looking for that "someone special". I have raised two children for the most part alone and I am very proud of the young adults they have become. I am not the most beautiful but I have been told I'm "a cutie". I am definitely comfortable in my own skin are you? In July my daughter made me a "Nonnie" thats grandma to some LOL. I have a ***year career as an X- I work hard and I enjoy my time off. I took a weekend position so I can take care of my grandson a few days during the week(gives my daughter peace of mind). The weekends are a sacrifice for now but well worth it.....I know my schedule doesn't fit with most.....they get weekends off.I am confident, open minded, sincere, independent, loyal, honest, intelligent, kind, straight forward, spontaneous and someone you would like by your side in hard times. My friends say I have "IT" and can't understand why I'm single. My kids say I'm "picky". I like to think of it as being selective. I know what I have had in my life and know what I don't want.I enjoy hiking, NASCAR, hanging out on a boat or at the beach, online games, taking a drive no map involved, working in my garden, mountains, fishing (even ice fishing), horseback riding, quadding, snowmobiling, motorcycle riding and a lot more. I have become very active working out and it shows(smile). I grew up listening to rock & roll (50's-80's) but I dig country, blues and jazz....it's all good. I recently received my motorcycle license (on my birthday) and definitely will be getting a bike in the near future. My daughter says I am going through midlife crisis. I feel your never too old to learn and expand yourself. For my next "midlife events" I want to get certified in SCUBA Diving and get my pilots license (first lesson is in April ) I am taking up guitar....serenade anyone???? What I am looking for is my best friend, lover, partner in crime, confidant, someone that can laugh at themselves(I laugh at things I do all the time)someone that isn't afraid to show their "softer side" and hopefully someone I could trust my heart to. I am ultimately looking for a long term relationship. I put "dating" as to what I'm looking for I think you need to do that before it moves further don't you? I am looking to starting out as friends if thats possible and I hope I can find my best friend here and experience my last first date/kiss.
