Hi there! I'm a healthy, happy and independent woman. I tend to be a bit quiet... until I get to know you, or, if I feel comfortable enough to open up. I think I'm pretty funny, although my humor tends to run a bit dry and sarcastic. I'm definitely a communicator... I love to meet new people and learn about what makes them tick in hopes of finding that intangible chemistry we all appreciate so much. I might call myself somewhat conservative... but mostly regarding my views on life, in general. I Love to read and try to keep up on politics as well as pop culture. I enjoy singing (used to be in a cover band eons ago)... but now, it's pretty much in the car or around the house. I miss karaoke!I'm really close with my family, who live in NJ, where I was born & raised. I moved out west to AZ for a short time and have decided to settle here in NC. You would maintain healthy relationships with your family & friends and have a good sense of humor.I'd just like to add... I believe happiness... comes from within. We should know our strengths and acknowledge our weakness... always try to put our best foot forward... be kind & generous... embrace humility... and trust the universe will do right by us.Oh and on a side note: I'm highly allergic to cats... so if you have a cat, chances are it won't work. =/ Good luck to ALL! I am creative and resourceful. I spend most of my time making or fixing things and am never been bored. I love my friends like family, my family like friends. From a fairly conservative upbringing, I now am more moderate. I love music, books, gardening, design of all kinds and really enjoy learning about different cultures and trying to speak their languages. Pretty good in Italian and French but like to try Spanish and German, too. Genealogy is my biggest addiction. I can get lost doing it for days and hours on end! Also love fixing things, seeing what makes them work or making them work again.I despise inconsideration either on the road, in a queue, in a store, at a restaurant or in relationship. I would like to be a little more laid back than I am. People call me intense and busy, so maybe someone is out there who can tame me! Since being widowed in ***, I have had very little contact with new men...and I really miss having one special man to love and with whom to spend time. I miss the interchange of everyday life, from the evening news to house and garden stuff to planning trips to a physical partnership. Come on y'all, gimme a call! Sports or music event, breakfast, lunch, dinner, a hike, a picnic...I guess to be determined by the two involved!
