I think of myself as an interesting and loving soul who enjoys adventures and having fun - and "fun" can be found anywhere between exciting journeys and quiet moments. I've been told that I'm funny (with a bit of a wacky sense of humor), unique, and smart, with a very caring heart. I'm half Norwegian, and this culture has been an influence throughout my life, and is probably where I inherited my streak of independence. My friends and family are very dear to me, and I would do anything for them, and I know they would for me. I tend to eat on the side of healthy, and great food makes me all a quiver. I love good music, mostly folk and rock, but I really like to listen to music from throughout the ages - opera, big band, Motown, all of it. I like to be outdoors on nice, sunny days, and I love being on or near the water - whether the ocean/beach, lake, stream, river, puddle (oops, went too far there.) Important to me in a relationship are what I think we all are looking for: honesty, respect, communication, a positive outlook, a degree of intelligence to challenge each other, and finding joy (and fun!) in simple pleasures. Hmmm, maybe meeting somewhere with a little ambiance where it's easy to talk and hear each other, and since I'm not a coffee drinker, meeting for "beverages" for me means I'll have the tea ;-) or a a really good beer.
