About Me

My journey has been varied and unexpected....is an interesting life ever predictable? I seek a companion I can grow old with ,someone to share my food and ideas with, someone to travel with and revel in the daily joys that life can bring.I am creative and social, enjoying best a day that includes any outdoor activity, the arts, seasonal home design, gardening, and time with family and/or friends, but can content myself with a good book or a quiet meditation......I love a good movie and better yet a really good book....I love to laugh and try not to take life too seriously...I like to cook and am partial to seasonal availability, but am just as comfortable dining out as long as the food is good...for me, diet is a direct link to good health and fitness...the two are inseparable and very important to me....I am open and honest (to a fault, really) and am turned off by deceit, pretentiousness and games.....the human condition in it's most natural state is way too interesting, and I find fascination and wonder in the smallest of things.... Music is an essential aspect of life.....I like so many genres but particularly fond of alt rock, blues and classical and jazz....especially if it's new.... A light meal and a walk afterwards is a great first date....or any setting that allows relaxed conversation, even if it's just coffee. I feel it's important to be able to see one another and share an exchange.....we can *** until the cows come home but none of it means anything until we meet and share that first impression, make that first eye contact.     I enjoy being outside. With fall being here, its a great time to walk, ride 4-wheelers, hayrides to see the autumn colors. Yes, I have a good strong back and all my teeth. I am not good at selling myself. Am I pretty? I am for 50 but not if you are looking for a 20 year old. Am I beautiful? No, I am not acceptional. I am quite but have gotten better at the skill. My shape matches the statement of "am I pretty". I do pilates 3 times a week. I am active but I do not run marathons.I enjoy country music. I listen to it in the car, when I walk and at work I want to spend one day with someone and it redefines what the rest of my life looks like.
