I was in a complicated relationship and now that I have taken some time off of dating, (which I think is probably a good idea for everyone), I am now ready to check out this internet thing. Although I'm a bit nervous about this, I am ready to check out the possibilities. Well I guess I should tell you a bit about me....... I like to work hard and I like to play hard (Hey, I don't mean hurt me hard, I just mean that I try to live life with gusto!). My parents raised the old-fashioned way. I believe in working hard for the things you want, I love my friends and family, and I am an honest person and do my very best to do what I say I will and I try to not make promises I can't keep. It is important for me to find these characteristics in someone that I am in a relationship with as well. I tend to take things literally, so when someone tells me that they are going to do something, I expect them to follow-through as I would do to them. I have raised two boys, both are grown now, and I have an absolutely beautiful little granddaughter. Oh, here are some things my friends, family and co-workers have said about me........     It's hard to write about yourself but how else do we get to know each other so here goes....I guess my greatest achievement so far in life is my 2 daughters. My family is the most important thing in my life. I love the outdoors - there is something about all 4 seasons that pulls me in - the new life and growth in the spring, the heat and lazy days of summer, the crisp, cool air and colors of autumn and the cool, quiet peace of winter.
