I also like to cook for the people in my life but since I do it for a living usually too tired to do it for myself so lets just say I eat lots of microwavable stuff, got to love the invention of the microwave lol.I like to watch baseball & football but am not fanantical about it, besides my family & friends say I'm a jinx it seems everytime I get a glimpse of a game they lose..lol. I watch comedy sitcoms, some crime dramas (the news depresses the hell out of me). I like all kinds of movies except for horror flicks (don't need to see all the gruesome way people can be killed lol)I like all kinds of music but lean towards country, but also like classic rock.And as shallow as this sounds, I do have a preferences I don't like fat men (and yes you men lie about your weight as much as the women do). I'm sorry if I offend anyone I just know what I like & what I don't & why waste each others time if we aren't right for each other? Happy hunting & I hope everyone finds their special someone. We are all a mix of nurture and nature. In my case the nurture included a lot of arts, culture and liberal politics. Nature gave me my pale skin, red hair, blue/grey eyes and a perfect 0.7 hip to waist ratio. Before I knew the curves were an asset I found I had a pretty good brain that needs a lot of stimulation. I've heard "treasure" and even "odd duck", meant in the nicest way, to describe the fact I don't exactly follow the herd. So unique brew is probably an apt description. It's no big surprise I work in a creative position. And it follows that I frequent galleries and lectures probably more than most. I listen to NPR, watch Charlie Rose and have been buying my food from farmers markets since I was a kid. Those that don't give their word lightly. People who are passionate, be it for their work, their hobby or life in general. Friends describe me as an ever-curious good conversationalist who can make people feel comfortable. I have a knack for finding those interesting little places and things that aren't on the public radar. So there's the touch of the explorer. Very often you'll find some leaf, seed pod or shell in my pockets.On a day-to-day level I possess a good amount of stick-to-it-ive-ness that keeps me grounded. I don't match the flighty artist stereotype at all. After eighteen years of marriage and over twenty years in my vocation, commitment and tenacity come naturally.But being grounded doesn't mean I've spent a lot of time standing still. I have adventured to some out of the way places. Travel is a mind-expanding experience.What might be a matching brew? Not sure...I am like my worst client in that regard, I keep thinking I will know it when I see it. I do think taking any action ripples out toward a final positive outcome. Even if it seems like a numbers game or random chance, to my mind even the small step of coffee, increases both our odds of finding that someone we are seeking.

After being a widow for ten years, I recently woke up one morning to realize I'm ready to try to findsomeone to share my older & wiser years with. I'm excited about the new life I am starting now thatI'm living alone for the first time in my life. This is a perfect opportunity to start fresh & I want to makethe most of it! I'm a professional & have always worked. I am a 100% 'girly girl' & love fashion, smelling good & allthings feminine, but I won't hesitate to go camping, 4 wheelin'or tag along on a fishing or hunting trip.I love college football (won't mention which team - I think a little Saturday afternoon rivalry is good forthe soul). I grew up showing Quarter Horses & shared 26 years with a very special mare & wouldlove to someday have that privilege again! I am friendly & outgoing & laughter is usually bubbling justbelow the surface & sometimes comes out at inappropriate times. I am fierce when it comes toprotecting the ones I love, but am very easy going when it comes to the little things... I just don'tsweat it.About the one I'm looking for...In a potential relationship, my first & only rule is "NO DRAMA". At this stage in my life I'm looking forsomeone who is secure enough in himself that games & the drama aren't necessary. I am giving to afault and as loyal as a blue tick hound. When I fall in love, it's with 100% of my heart & soul and I'mhoping to loose myself in that feeling once more in my life. I have a very high IQ (she says withutmost humility) and need someone that I can have challenging and fascinating conversation &friendly debates with. And although it's pretty cliché, being with someone that loves life & makes melaugh and feel young & beautiful is at the top of my list! My ideal guy will have something to show forhis life... Not necessarily material possessions or monetary prowess - it could be that he has childrenor family that adore him or that he has been a positive influence on someone's life or been aninspiration. Someone with morals and ethics - a man of real character! I believe a first date should be all about fun! Seeing if there's a connection, but being happy that you've possibly made a great friend if there's not one. I don't think the traditional dinner or movie first date is the only way to go - I recently had an amazing first date at the fair! Anything outside is great for me!
