I also love the beach and try to go as often as I can make it. I live fairly close and walk on the beach often, although I do enjoy just laying out or playing in the surf. I am looking for compatibility first ... someone who enjoys some of the same activities although I love learning new things and would enjoy the experience of participating in your favorite pasttime. Kindness and compassion matter and are certainly characteristics I am looking for. I love to laugh and would like to meet someone who has a great sense of humor and can find the humor in most things. I can also be a bit nerdy at times, I guess, since I love to read and enjoy learning ... I never wanted my college experience to end. If you care about others and can be described as a real sweetheart by your friends, we will probably get along just fine. To me it doesn't really matter what the activity is for a first date. It is more important to have a connection to the person you are with. It could be something as simple as meeting for a cup of coffee, and if the connection is there, you know it. I do enjoy having time to talk and get to know you a bit better.

I am a happy, well-adjusted woman who loves life! I have done a myriad of things: disc jockey, diesel mechanic in the Coast Guard, travel agent, executive secretary, newspaper editor, bartender (including a six-year stint in a brothel), drink server on a cruise ship, tasting room manager in a couple of wineries, although not necessarily in that order. My musical tastes run the gamut, with the exceptions of hip-hop, rap, and head-banging, although my personal favorite is Jimmy Buffett. Been a Parrothead since ***! I'm not a girly girl, but I do clean up very nicely and have been told I have great legs. I have a business license, a patent, and love creating neat things, like lamps out of liquor bottles.
