I've decided that it is time I started having fun again. My children are grown now, so I can concentrate on myself and Date again. I have Retired and have been enjoying my new adventures. I L.o.v.e to cook. (I am very good at it too!!) I like an honest man...kind and gentle..... Enjoy type A personalities...as I am one. I like keeping things simple and fun; my "world" filled with laughter (though I am not a silly woman) but when it is time to be serious that is alright...I can handle it. I am what many would call, "old school" when it comes to my beliefs and ethics. Simply put, I do the things which are expected to be done in my life and for others (ie: my Family and friends). I can honestly say I am extremely conscientious and dependable. I tell it like it is or how I see it... I will debate with you but not argue. I do not catalog arguments and bring up every little tidbit from the past each and every time there is a conflict...hate that...a lot! Don't you? I like my independence. I am an Adult and expect to be treated as such. I've spent a long time being a responsible and credible lady. And BTW, I would not be blowing up your phone wanting or needing to know where you are and/or what you're doing 80 times a day (like I see others doing). I think that is ridiculous. Why do people do that? So silly to me. Oh, I do love a romantic, well planned out Date. I really enjoy surprises!! Something casual, too begin with, would be fine of course. Better to be relaxed and comfortable, wouldn't you agree? I really love music. Concerts (in a Park) are a wonderful thing! I am insane for the music of the '70's, fyi. Not one to shy away from a challenge or adventure I ascribe to the theory that life begins on the outer edge of your comfort zone. I am very active and have many things I would still like to experience, yes, I have a bucket list on the go. I am beginning to understand that it is much more rewarding to share this ride that we call life. I am fortunate to have a long term job and career that I thoroughly enjoy. I have a very close relationship with my son and it has only gotten better as he grew into a responsible, mature and compassionate young man. I am very handy-capable and independent and enjoy martial arts, riding my motorcycle and boot camps. I do believe in giving back to the community so I volunteer with many local societies and charities. I like to color outside the lines and often stray off the beaten path. On the flip side I am equally comfortable in stillness and quiet just enjoying a moment. I'm looking for some one who can accept me for who I am, is comfortable in his own skin, exudes confidence without arrogance and is not looking for "Barbie". I love most genres of music but have limited tolerance for too much metal ,head banging or rap. Love to sing especially when no one is listening. People watching is a very fascinating past time. Hoping to find some one to delight in and share the ride of a lifetime without worrying too much about the destination. I prefer to Keep it light. We can meet for coffee get through the awkward initial question and answer period then head off for an activity. Perhaps a walk and a talk or if you have a bike go for a ride to a mutually agreed upon destination. If we want a good chuckle we can pick something neither one of us has done before.
