About Me

Hi! Thank you for taking the time to read some things about me.These are things that are important to me and will not change.I have a lot of energy and passionate about staying fit. I challenge myself to improve all the time. It would be great to meet someone who enjoys some of the same activities, but not a requirement. Typically I go to the gym or CrossFit 6 days a week. My 3 dogs are spoiled rotten! Two are elderly and a very energetic Pit. Everyone was a rescue and needed a home.Live music venues are a lot of fun and there is a lot to choose from in this area. I usually will get together with a group of friends and we have a great time! I have been to wine tastings recently & learning a bit more about the different wines. The beach is my favorite place to be ;) A little sun and sand can cure most anything! I love to dive when I can. My daughter and I tried zip lining for Mother's Day and had a blast! We got hooked and tried the more challenging lines later in the day! I am open to trying almost anything new and adventurous :) Needless to say... I am not a couch potato! I am employed and have a great job. Occasionally I do contract work for several businesses.Sorry to add this in...however it has become an issue....     I am currently retired, but may go back to work -- but not right now! I worked in the IT industry for 25 years and a law office for about 5 years. I tend to be a little old fashion and like to take things slow in a relationship. I very much enjoy most any activity with my partner. I have always enjoyed anything around the water. I consider myself to be very honest, dependable, and optimistic. The short comings in life never get me down. I can laugh at screwups and don't have some over inflated ego. To me everyday is a new day with new opportunities and challenges. I have a good bit of energy but not as much as a did when I was 25. I exercise 5 to 6 times a week mostly walking and a few classes and a personal trainer. I know that relationships require patience and compromise to be successful. A good first date would be at a restaurant where we could get to know one another. If all goes well, we can stay for dinner, if not we can go our separate ways.
