Finding a person you are attracted to makes life that much sweeter, laughter, banter, kisses... butterflies... all part of being attracted to someone! I love the beach and hope to one day be able to spend ALOT of time there whether living there or just visiting,.. so if you like margaritas and watching sunsets over water, you may be the guy for me. I have been on my own for a quite a while and while I would love to find someone to enhance my life I am not willing to sacrifice or settle just to have someone in my life. I want a healthy wonderful relationship that is good for both of us and can withstand the test of I believe in fate and serendipity.... do you? I have come to realize that just spending time with someone can be just as lonely as spending time alone and sometimes spending time alone is more enjoyable than spending time with someone you don't really want to be with! A first meeting with a hot/cold beverage and conversation as we size each other up and look for that ever elusive spark!

I am currently retired, but may go back to work -- but not right now! I worked in the IT industry for 25 years and a law office for about 5 years. I absolutely love being able to do what I want to do on my own schedule. I am of Catholic faith and I attend mass daily and on the weekend. I am involved in several areas of the church. I very much enjoy doing volunteer work and giving back to the community. I have done work with hospice, working directly with the patience, however I am not current doing this actvity. My real passion is working with the elderly. I am healthy of mind and body and try to stay that way thourgh diet and exercise. Family is very important to me and consider myself to be family oriented.-in-laws, and a bunch of nieces and nephews.I love to travel and do have a passport. However, I have not done a lot of traveling. Would definitely like to do more. I love music of all kinds, except Rap. I would love to go to a live Rolling Stones concert. Who would like to take me?I am an independent girl meaning I don't need someone to do everything for me, but do enjoy the company of a good wholesome man. I tend to be a little old fashion and like to take things slow in a relationship. I very much enjoy most any activity with my partner. I have always enjoyed anything around the water. I consider myself to be very honest, dependable, and optimistic. The short comings in life never get me down. I can laugh at screwups and don't have some over inflated ego. To me everyday is a new day with new opportunities and challenges. I have a good bit of energy but not as much as a did when I was 25. I exercise 5 to 6 times a week mostly walking and a few classes and a personal trainer. I know that relationships require patience and compromise to be successful. A good first date would be at a restaurant where we could get to know one another. If all goes well, we can stay for dinner, if not we can go our separate ways.
