However , I certainly like to dress up nice and go out, but not necessarily all of the time. I like to dine out and dance, go to concerts, I spend a lot of time at the theatre. I could roam a good museum for a week, and enjoy history. I am independent and self sufficient , my only requirements are a decent bottle of wine and peanut butter , and SCUBA, and this lamp, and this paddle ball game...I am looking for a Gentleman. A strong man with a kind heart. A Dive buddy, Best Friend, Travel Companion/Playmate, a protector , an intellectual sparing partner, and, Lover. I would hope to find someone with a great sense of adventure and a better sense of humor. Ideally he would share my love of the outdoors and share my passion for activities and fun. I am a High energy person like that little pink bunny, but I can lay quite still almost motionless for extended periods beside the ocean or a pool. I can spend every day near the Ocean. My perfect day would involve an activity near the water, or even better on a boat; Sail boat , power boat, Kayak... all are good! My heading tells what I believe makes a solid relationship...At this point in life I'd like to find a monogamous relationship with tons of chemistry. No pressure.... What you see here is exactly what you will see in person.My passions are wilderness backpacking, kayaking, and camping in the mountains near a stream or lake. Fly fishing, (for the longest time, I thought this was the ONLY right way to fish, right?!). I love gardening, art, reading, crafting...I enjoy learning new things, Saturday markets full of fresh veggies, country music (all kinds of music) and FUN, happy people...I'm not a serial dater, in fact I haven't been dating for over two years now because I wanted to take a break and do some other things that I really enjoy doing...things that are on my ever growing bucket list. So, YES...it will take a bit of conversing before I say yes to a first date. Looking for that certain someone for me isn't about jumping at the first invite and going through a ton of coffee dates until something sticks. Why be ordinary when you can be extraordinary? Looking for a long term relationship to me is an investment in time and energy. Getting to know you here is a part of the process. Talking on the phone is part of the process. Meeting for the first time is...going to be exciting and well worth all the time it takes to get there. (you thought I was going to say, part of the process, right?) lol!On another note...I love the smell of my man just after he's taken a shower, that soapy fresh scent is so sexy. I love the look in his eyes when something touches the very depth of his soul; and he need not say more. I miss getting ready for work in the mornings, sharing the bathroom, drinking coffee; starting the day together. The laughter only WE share because we get something no one else does (It's what makes us just about perfect as a couple). I enjoy it when my man takes my hand in his...anytime...for no reason other than to indicate that I am HIS sweetheart. He knows that a single flower can make my heart melt faster than a dozen roses can and one sweet kiss can equal a thousand words... I'm on meetville because I am looking for someone that isn't like everyone else. Someone that stands out a bit from the usual "Let's do coffee" crowd. Shouldn't a first date be something out of the ordinary and not the mundane? Something more than coffee in a crowded coffee shop filled with business people doing the same thing? Shouldn't it be our first opportunity to make a great impression? Ideas? museums, art galleries, antique shops, a local dive that really isn't and serves great food, wine tasting, city tour routes, hoola hooping in River Park Square...well, maybe not that, I am not very good at it. LOLFeel free to be creative...take the time to make an impression. It could be a lasting one and the beginning of something pretty darn terrific..
