What do I say first? What would be that outstanding opening line to intrigue someone to read further. Hmmmmm...I feel as though I'm suppose to sort of sell myself here and that makes me uncomfortable. I'll do my best to show through words how caring, compassionate and a tad crazy I am. I am very outgoing person with a love for humor. I love practical jokes (when you least expect it) and love to make people laugh. It's such a good medicine. I love the water and being at the beach but a good hike or camping is just as fun. I can be a tomboy when needed or dress up for that special occassion. I guess I'm pretty versatile. Family is important to me. I have 4 grown children, all out of the home and doing very well. Three are/were military and one is in law enforcement and all highly outgoing.At the present I have decided to do a little change up in my career. I finished nursing school last year but am debating on attending school again this fall to up my educational degree. Not sure if I want to throw myself into the boiling pot of studying again. Returning to school "later in life" isn't all that easy. I was a teacher (pharmacy field) for years but felt I needed a change. Economy hasn't been too friendly to vocational teachers. "Back in the day" I worked in emergency medicine. I gave up the crazy schedule to be a more devoted mom and help run the home. Four kids took a lot of time and focus. I love to travel (yet I haven't been able to much). I have family in Germany and would love to visit them someday. I think I'm the last one in the family to leave the country. Sad, huh?As for music, well, I'm pretty open. I love the theater, going to plays, hmmmmm...not Opera though, and I'm not real big into Rap music. I love the oldies and am "attempting" to adapt to country music. Trying, at least. My sons love country so there are a few artists I really like. I was a competitive swimmer for years, a basketball coach, a swim coach and the list goes on so, yes, I love sports. I even like watching football and hockey games on T.V. (after I make all the yummy food to watch it with). I enjoy getting all dressed up and having a "Barbie moment" as much as I like gutting a fish and going camping and being all grungy. Everything has it's place and I enjoy it all. Life is too short to be picky. OK....I won't go bungie jumping. I value my spine!Well, I don't know what else to say. It seems as though every time I read someone else's profile I think, "Ah man, I should've said that. That's good." But this is who I am. I think I painted a pretty accurate picture of myself. I try and live life to the fullest and look at things with a positive approach. Wow...I leave this open to your imagination. Why give hints when it's more fun to see what you come up with on your own. Good luck, it should be fun. I'm very easy to talk with and be around. Thank you for taking your valuable time to read my profile. I have a wonderful life and I would like to enhance it by having a companion. A man who is secure in who he is and can trust in the process....I have a few animals...my little bean is a real joy in my life....so being an animal lover would be a good idea.. i am a NASCAR fan. I do enjoy outdoor activities....; I would enjoy motorcycle rides. Beyond that I am open to most adventures. If you are of like mind I hope we can chat, if not good luck in fishing. Seems so many men want to travel... I am not really interested in traveling around the world or the country. I like where I live... I would like short trips a few times a year... And as for camping well during speed weeks or something as awesome as that I would consider. Now that I am older I see no real good reason to sleep on the ground. I raised my son and I am not looking to raise another.... Please no more ***something's ....I am not interested. Flattered but not interested. Well....before a date.. I would suggest just a cup of coffee, see if we want to have a date, an if we do then we can make a mutually agreeable plan.

I'm a very down to earth, blue jeans kinda girl, not really a girly-girl and certainly not high maintenance. I like being treated like a lady and I have old-fashioned values. I am not really into going out every night and definitely not into the weekly party scene, but I truly enjoy a romantic evening, a weekend together, and barbequing with friends. I am thinking it's time to find someone special. Someone who is honest, with integrity and a good heart. Someone who likes to laugh, talk and play. Someone who can be serious when the time is right, but who most the time is light hearted and playful. In my free time, I love to spend time outdoors, any place in the mountains or near the water. The ocean is a magical place to me with the sun and sounds, I love the smell of the water and the crash of the surf. Add a picnic lunch and six pack, or little wine and it is a perfect date! I absolutely Love life’s view from the back of a Harley. I love camping, boating, riding horses, roller coasters, classic cars and live music. Looking for extra points.... If your a hopeless romantic, little love notes just because or occasional flowers, then you've got my attention. My friends say I can be quiet and shy at first, but really I'm just sittin' back, watching and observing. Sooner or later my wicked sense of humor comes out. I would love to find someone who can make me laugh and challenge my sense of humor! Great banter is a must.
