A little about me... I am fun, happy, compassionate and have have an aura that people are attracted to. I treat people the way I want to be treated and have a great deal to offer the right guy. I am in the medical field and have been at my job for nearly 24 years, and looking forward to retirement in the next few years. I am an active woman. Golf has become my newest passion, am loving it and looking forward to improving my game. I love life and everything it has to offer. God has us always where he wants us. I am of christian faith and try my best to live by those values, though far from perfect. I have always led a clean life, no drugs or excessive alcohol. I have learned a lot the last few years, life has unexpected turns in that I have had to endure much suffering and pain. I have lost a son who was who was the most treasured gift to me and my family, but for reasons that I will never understand, God called him home. Life is to be valued, as well as our loved ones. I have a special attraction to guys. who are mechanically inclined. Character is very important to me. Be on time and respectful. Mean what you say. Actions do speak for themselves. Honesty and communication are essential. No excessive drinking and absolutely no tolerance for drugs in any way, whether it be abuse of prescription or illegal. Life is too short to be wasted on a road that takes you nowhere. I like fun, outgoing and assertive guys. I like spontaneity, it is the spice of life.     I moved to NC 6 yrs ago but still haven't met the right person so now I'm back in the pond. I've been divorced quite a while and would like to have someone in my life. I miss getting ready for work in the mornings, sharing the bathroom, drinking coffee; starting the day together. The laughter only WE share because we get something no one else does (It's what makes us just about perfect as a couple). I enjoy it when my man takes my hand in his...anytime...for no reason other than to indicate that I am HIS sweetheart. He knows that a single flower can make my heart melt faster than a dozen roses can and one sweet kiss can equal a thousand words... I'm on meetville because I am looking for someone that isn't like everyone else. Someone that stands out a bit from the usual "Let's do coffee" crowd. Shouldn't a first date be something out of the ordinary and not the mundane? Something more than coffee in a crowded coffee shop filled with business people doing the same thing? Shouldn't it be our first opportunity to make a great impression? Ideas? museums, art galleries, antique shops, a local dive that really isn't and serves great food, wine tasting, city tour routes, hoola hooping in River Park Square...well, maybe not that, I am not very good at it. LOLFeel free to be creative...take the time to make an impression. It could be a lasting one and the beginning of something pretty darn terrific..
