Woman. 52 years old. Zodiac sign: Scorpio.
Looking for: man. In age: 49-59
Hi and thank you for taking the time to view my profile. Like everyone else on this site, I find it difficult to talk about myself, but here goes....I am an easy going lady that is down to earth, easy to talk to, young at heart, adventurous, passionate, compassionate and a one man woman. I have to dress up during the work week, so I like being in jeans and a t-shirt for the weekends, but can just as easily be ready to go in a dress and heels. I like camping, especially beach camping, taking spur of the moment trips on the weekend, or just staying home on a rainy day cuddled up next to my man with the fire going and a good movie or listening to music. I like the wine country, college football (fight on!), golfing (I've had some lessons but they won't let me go on the course yet (is that a bad sign???). I like taking long drives, singing in the car out loud (yes, even though I may not sing well, cover your ears!). I am not into playing games or drama. I love my job and have been at the same organization for 18 years. I like classic rock and roll music, some country, no rap, going to concerts, live sporting events, fairs, flea markets, people watching, traveling to wherever the wind blows us. I am looking for a guy who is easy to talk to, honest, funny, witty, has a great smile and likes the outdoors. I would like to find the right man who is intelligent, one who can make me laugh (love to laugh), is comfortable with themselves (not full of himself), and is genuinely a nice, honest man with integrity. I hope to find someone who can spark that fire within me. Let's meet and see if there is any chemistry. Hope to find you soon. Coffee, a drink, a place where we can talk and get to know each other. If there is chemistry, extend the meet into lunch/dinner.

Exactly how does one write a profile to precisely capture the desired audience? What magical combination of words can possibly attract the personification of the traits I find attractive or adequately portray my true essence as a person and a woman? Most importantly how many men really do read these profiles? Myself: I am self-sufficient (capable of killing spiders, investigating loud noises in the night with large dog at side, and tackling minor home repairs and improvements), educated (degreed with a liberal arts foundation), intelligent (have my own opinions but, astute enough to know that "different" doesn't necessarily mean "wrong"), articulate (I guess you’ll need to converse with me to ascertain that trait! lol), and attractive (or so I've been told) with a deep love for children, animals and the outdoors. Some of my greatest passions are dog rescue, training and fostering. Spending time at the dog parks is one of my favorite ways to de-stress. Additionally, being outside, whether working in the yard with headphones and music, walking trails with the dogs or sitting on a patio listening to wind chimes and birds sing is a must to retain my sanity! My friends and family have remarked that I am empathetic, naturally happy, unpretentious, patient, and have a calming influence on others. Basically, I see the joy in life and the good in people, and more often than not, accept them on their own terms. My goal is to live each day with love, grace, humility and gratitude. I've lived a fabulous live but, the past has not always been “”. However, it has been a wonderful opportunity for learning and growth. As a result, I am free from the past and have moved forward as a better person with more wisdom and life experience. Traits I appreciate in a man: Attractive (someone attractive to me both on the inside and out), intelligent (the ability carry on a cogent conversation and participate in playful banter), articulate (The ability and willingness to speak your thoughts, both positive and negative....What REALLY catches my attention and interest is excellent writing skills with correct spelling and proper grammar.Oh my!!), optimistic, warm, patient (able to laugh at the daily frustrations in life most of the time and can see progress, above imperfection) and a professional persona. Also a love of dogs would be a fantastic bonus, but at least a "like" is necessary. Essentially looking for my equal and complement....someone who "gets" me and would never dream of wanting to change me. Have you seen him????In a perfect world of infinite possibilities..... I seek a man that I can respect, admire and adore for an eternity; a man that can tolerate and perhaps even nurture my creative binges, can find humor in the chaos of living with a house full of pets, has the maturity to weather the storm and the wisdom and faith to embrace uncertainty. However, today, I'd like to start SLOWLY with a developing friendship and see what progresses. Down the road, who knows?.....Perhaps you will make my heart skip a beat. ;) Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I wish you abundant success in finding what you seek. :) For that first meeting my preference would be a quiet location, e.g., coffee shop, to facilitate getting to know one another better, to determine the presence of that initial "spark" OR potential friendship.

Funny sarcastic and upfront girl looking for a straightforward, sweet guy who works hard and likes to have fun and relax. Family is important to me and my priorities are providing for my family and spending time with them. But I'm also ready to share my free time with a good guy who is a gentleman and comes from a good family. Haven't yet met a fun local companion to do weekend adult stuff with but I'm confident that you are out there. Love to listen to live music (Classic Rock, Italian rock, oldies, jazz, blues), go to ball games, explore the gold country, take weekend trips. Not too much into mall shopping, but love flea markets, antiquing and finding treasures for a bargain. I'm a big Giants and 49ers fan for a long time, not a bandwagon, and love to make the trip to my city, SF, to see games anytime. Love discovering new restaurants and wine tasting. Haven't done that for a long time, but I really enjoy it. I don't bring my work home, and I am an honest, trustworthy and loyal friend and I expect the same from my friends.I'm hoping to find someone who shares my interests and who has energy to do fun and interesting things in the evenings and on weekends. Looking for someone who likes to share and talk, to meet somewhere and enjoy live music and/or a bite to eat or drink. I LOVE new adventures.
