What you see is what you get. I am a very reasonable and straightforward person. No high (or low) drama, no angry ex-husbands or difficult kids still trying to 'find themselves'. I am financially (as well as otherwise) secure. I am healthy,fit and active, as I believe you only get one body, so you'd better try to take pretty good care of it. I am smart, witty, non-idiosyncratic, pretty nice (and pretty normal), and a very good friend. I have a very good life and am comfortable being alone, so I'm not motivated by the thought of merely 'having company'. I have a great deal to offer, and would like to meet someone who can offer the same. My 'day job' involves running a biomedical research organization and affords me the luxury of working with people who are really smart. I am pretty active: spend a good deal of time at the gym, playig tennis, skiing, cycling and even rollerblading when I can find a well-paved surface. I also have a dog (I'm fond of saying: "I used to have a life; now I have a dog". If you have a dog, you undoubtedly know what I mean), so if you have a problem with animals, be advised we come as a pair. At this point in my life, I have achieved success professionally, and would like to shift my focus to enjoying the fruits of my achievement, hopefully in the company of a like-minded partner. If you are a man who is attractive, active, kind, smart, reasonable, secure, humorous, drama-free, emotionally and physically available and are seriously looking to have a relationship, look no further! Players, serial daters, those whose life seems to move from crisis to crisis, and/or those looking for a mama (sugar or otherwise) or pen pal need not respond. Oh, and; 'hi', 'hey', 'how u doing' and other such non-substantive entrees are not particularly enticing, and will not be responded to. I'm not even sure what a 'date' is these days No flowers or candy or long walks on the beach for me (not that I have anything against flowers, candy, or the beach, but do you guys really think that we are all that easily ensnared???) I would prefer to meet in a comfortable environment, a place where we can talk without having to do so over the din of a thousand others, and if that can be combined with some 'real' activity, all the better (that way, if things don't work out, at least you got to play tennis, or whatever).
