About Me

I am a cat loving Photographer AND Nurse. I particularly love photographing nature, sailing regattas, nautical and environmental portraits, concerts and just about everything else. While I don't shoot weddings, I would love to marry that special woman some day. Within the last year I have volunteered at my local SPCA as a Photographer. Since I believe strongly in Paying It Forward I also volunteer as a photographer with a local charity called "Jammin' For A Cure" which battles Multiple Sclerosis . I have a great sense of humor and enjoy an educated mind and a sharp wit. I am secure in myself, know what I am seeking, and identify very strongly with Elves (Of the Tolkien genre). In other words, I believe in the magic in this life. I am well-read, intelligent,and can be sarcastic but NEVER mean or self-serving. Admittedly, I DO sometimes experience the "East Coast Crabbies." I am VERY loyal to family, friends and colleagues.As you have probably ascertained I am from the East Coast and retain a hint of the accent.. I love Italian, Chinese, Indian, Thai, Greek, Mediterranean and American food. Stability is important to me. Finally, I am currently studying to become a Patient Advocate at UCLA and plan to act as an Advocacy Consultant to the LGBT community after graduation. Let's get together for Cawfee!

    I have the heart and eyes of an Artist. I enjoy the Arts in any form and enjoy seeing new sites and natural beauty. I will be graduating college in May and I am unsure at the moment what path I will take, I love to paint and create in between my two youngest grandchildren that keep me busy and have my heart. My goal was to have my art out in the public eye and in the last year I have done that, I have an outdoor mural in the county seat, 3 paintings in the art museum right now, a painting in the community health center.     This is my first time joining a dating service. I don't go to the bars or clubs so it becomes difficult meeting new people. Although I have a wonderful circle of friends I would like to add to it. I enjoy going to concerts and shows, occasional movies. I am not much of a T.V. watcher but I love music and reading. As for taste in music I really enjoy just about all types. Rap and country are my least favorites but I do listen to them. I guess a light meal in a personal yet occupied atmosphere. Mid-day or early evening so that conversation doesn't need to be rushed. Although I belive in (and love) romance I do not believe it needs to be forced. If romance is what its supposed to be then it will happen that way without any forced actions on anyones part. I know they suggest a long response but for me that would feel forced and as I said that doesn't really work. One last thing, if we judge a book by its cover we never know what might be inside.
