I am a 50 year old grandmother of almost 6 now. I adore my grandkids. I love to read and love to listen to almost any kind of music but rap.! I just want to be happy. I am tired of the singles scene, as I am not a big drinker, I don't want someone I would meet at a bar. I love being out in the country. I love to snuggle and treasure quiet time together at home, but I am not a clingy person. I like my alone time as well, and know that people need interests outside each other. Would love to meet a like minded woman, one who isn't afraid to show emotions. I am a hopeless romantic and there is nothing more romantic to me than a slow dance to music at home. I am tired of game players, and think that anyone who plays with someones feelings deserves a swift kick in the a-s! I am honest and expect the same from my SO. Sometimes the truth hurts, but there are ways to cushion it and still be honest. I am a good person and loyal to a fault at times, and tend to see mostly the best in those I love. I would love to meet a woman who is honest and loving. Who would hold hands sitting on the couch or hiking down a path. I love to hold and be held. I am not clingy, and don't want someone who is clingy, but I am a touchy-feely kind of girl and love to snuggle. I have never been a biker chick, but love to ride when I get the opportunity. I just want to be happy, and I don't think that is too much to ask. I do live with my oldest daughter and take care of her kids, but I think it is time for me to start doing things for myself! I have been single for a long time. I am a hopeless romantic, but you would have to choose the kind of date it is, I don't take charge of things really well. I would have more input after we got to know each other better. A quiet dinner in a place where it isn't too noisy to talk and get to know each other. Maybe star-gazing on a blanket out in the country.

    OK well I'm a highly sensitive, intelligent human who needs to have fun once in a while and not just work all the time. Life is dynamic and humans are too, always evolving and changing. So while I am serious at times I also like to laugh out loud and make others laugh also. Does that make me a pensive goofball? Yes. Sometimes I like to stay home and watch TV or work on a project. Other times I want to eat out with friends or go to an activity. I like to try to stay in shape but I'm not perfect. I like to play my guitar and bass with other musicians but don't have anything to organized about that right now. I think sometimes my inner musician is my alter ego to balance out that serious person at work. Ha! It makes me think I'm cool and forces me to relax and just feel and be harmonious. I like to write for the same reason, I suppose. I like to go sailing, walk on the beach, get a room on an upper floor looking out at the ocean once in a while. I like intimate talking, perhaps spiritually oriented but not religious. I hardly ever drink but then again sometimes it's fun to kick back and have a beer or two. I don't use drugs or smoke. I think it's good to just have a getting acquainted activity, like having coffee or breakfast without expectations of intimacy etc.
